No king, no government ever extended to the people more rights than the people insisted upon. And I think we've come to a place with this psychedelic issue. We have the gay community as a model, and all the other communities. We simply have to say, Look: LSD has been around for fifty years now, It ain't going away. WE are not going away. We are not slack-jawed, dazed, glazed, unemployable psychotic creeps. We are pillars of society. You can't do anything in culture without psychedelic people in key positions. And this is the great unspoken of American Creativity. So I think it's basically time to just come out of the closet and go, "You know what, I'm stoned, and I'm proud."

Am I still considered a "regular?"
The majority of what I do around here is lurk. I find it interesting to observe other peoples opinions and feelings about different topics, I don't feel that I MUST present my own opinion all the time.
I like to observe the interactions themselves, and the shroomery is not the only online forum site I peruse.
Anyway, I am not sure your question was answered...why do you "hate" lurkers OC?

I dearly hope that is sarcasm, otherwise it would come across as extremely puerile.

Idea stealers, reading others opinions instead of forming their own, then repeating them. Personal experience. Maybe we all do this to some degree, but someone who never contributes EVER might be very guilty.

i never have lurked with the sole intention of copying anothers idea.
i lurk IF i decide to get grow tips. (which i would never do. illegal) but IF i decide to get grow tips, i lurk so there's no connection with me. just randomly browsing.

Sneaky, really sneaky.
I'm too old to take drugs anymore. I just philosophize about them.

No, people are weak. Some people. The strong should not be made to pay for the weak.

OK:D Then lets take it a step further. "Bad" is subjective. For instance some great people have possibly only reached that level because they have hit bottom with abuse. Ya never know how things are going to work out in this crazy life.
But what this had to do with lurkers I have no idea.

if some good comes from bad, then the good would be dependent on time and place... circumstance.
so too, some lurkers may not be all bad, and may indeed, one day, be members.
hah! i made myself laugh.
that took pot. i love my herb.

sometimes i lurk because i get this paranoia going on, that everyone is talking about me. (it happens in IRL mainly, but sometimes here too) - it'll shoot off in one of two directions: either i keep lurkin' and listenin' cause i want to know what everyone is saying, or i go into mode and dance or fidget or ride the wave of consciousness on a tangent.
i also don't know enough about some of the topics to give adequate answers/discuss. i guess i could ask questions if they hit me.

that's so awesome. i like you you're honest.
i ntry to never talk about some one unless it is positive. so you have no worries from me. if it's negative i try to say, "this one time, this one thing happened from some one..."
