Bad trip, I stole something from the mushroom world

It started with 5 grams of Puerto Ricans in silent darkness and but ended in a bad trip with me speaking gibberish into the voice recorder on my iPhone. Near the peak of my trip I went to go to the bathroom and then I climbed back into bed, expecting the circus to continue where it left off I closed my eyes and saw that the circus had packed up left while I was in the bathroom. Where the circus tents used to be, I saw a bright red sunset and an interesting piece of “metal” laying on the ground. When I saw it I knew it was significant and that I needed to take it. The best way I can describe it is like how a Möbius strip bridges the gap between two dimensions and three, this object goes from three dimensions to four, and It isn’t just object, it’s more like a symbol or an incantation. It’s just as much four dimensional object as it is a sound, three syllables of madness.
Sometimes on a psilocybin trip I get so preoccupied with trying to explain and wrap my mind around what I see that I can’t see the forest through the trees. I grasp at objects only to have them evaporate or explode like a deep sea fish being pulled up to the surface. With intense concentration I was able to bring this “incantation” back with me.
I know this sounds totally fucked up, but I get the impression that this incantation isn’t something that I should have taken back with me. It’s like elfs are mad at me for bringing it back to this dimension. I said the incantation into my voice recorder three times. I listened to it twice and it was really creepy. The symbol creeps me out so much that I don’t even want to type the phonetic sound of it into this message. After I play the voice clip of my gibberish for a couple friends I’m going to delete from my phone and permanently remove it from this dimension.
After taking this piece of the mushroom world the fun part of my trip quickly ended and I was left in a very uncomfortable head space for about five hours. It was very depressing and painful, but brought about some revelations in my life that I think were good.
This is only the third time I have ever done mushrooms. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Does anyone have any thoughts on recovering from a bad trip and getting back into the groove of enjoying this powerful medicine?

Wow...that is VERY interesting. I wouldn't be in such a hurry to erase that message if I were you. Give it some consideration and explore the power it has. It was presented to you for a reason, even though you may not be sure why at this moment.
This sort of thing is not without precedent. Icaros (shamanic songs) and all sorts of plant knowledge are presented to shaman through Ayahuasca. Don't be so quick to discard a gift. That might prove even more insulting to the entities that saw fit to make it available to you.

Time to reflect [Re: NoHum]

Now that I’ve had a day to reflect, I’m not as freaked out about the symbol/sound. After careful consideration I think Nature Boy might be right regarding the symbol. It seems as if it was deliberately left for me to find and take.
When I was tripping I felt like I was accessing the space where consciousness condenses into reality. I have the image of a giant structure like a domed stadium. The inside of the stadium is ethereal consciousness and the outer surface of the dome is the material world that we live in. I feel the symbol I was given is like a support beam for part of the real world that is giving me trouble. I get the feeling that this piece of metal either holds up and supports a part of negativity in my life or else adding this to the structure will fill a gap that will remove the source of negativity.
Here’s what the incantation sounds like “chawtisad” or Chaw Tee Sad. The look of the object was a twisted piece of curly metal, kind of in an “L” shope. Seeing it and hearing it just creeps me out. Any idea of what this means? Should I break this down mathematically and come up with the winning numbers for Powerball? Should I play the recording backwards and hear something amazing? What do I do with this?

Man, its weird as hell, but I feel you about the elves thing. I encountered the same thing. I told my friend that they were the mushroom people. They are the trip tour guides. They'll see hey for a little bit without words, then plunge you into the colors, then 30 minutes later bring you back, then again...

I told a friend about the "incantation." He searched online and came to the conclusion that "Chaw Ti Sod" means "You're my secret" in Hebrew. I haven't been able to verify this, or make any sense of it.
I have no Jewish background and have never studied Hebrew.

Your post reads like an HP Lovecraft story.
I wouldn't necessarily place so much significance in the incantation. Your mind is a very complex thing that abstracts and uses symbols like crazy; it could have come up with a gibberish phrase that you attach great significance to. And it could easily be a coincidence that it sounds similar to something in Hebrew. Sounds like an interesting trip though.
That said, I find the phrase creepy as well, for some reason.

Thank you all for the interesting responses. Maybe that symbol thing was just meant to give me a great story and put me in contact with some interesting people and ideas. It worked.

I'm not fluent, but as far as I know, "You're my secret" would be "Atah sod sheli."
I've had a similar experience a few times when I've taken something back from a lucid dream, but I think the fear and feeling of 'wrongness' stems more from a fear of the power of this thing. The way it was revealed to you does seem like it's something you were meant to find.

this is amazing. I think this symbol could work as sort of an anchor, you know in this world your boat is swimming on the surface and you have a direct connection to the other dimension/s where you can enter at the exact same place everytime you dive down your anchor chain, and when you return you will find that your boat has not moved! Because you brought this symbol with you, you lifted the anchor from the ground and your boat is now travelling until you find a nice place to anchor again
Be careful my friend, the ocean of the mind is unpredictable and most people prefer to anchor in shallow waters instead of sailing out to sea

Ooh, two threads about P Rican cubes. Nice. As a P Rican myself I can't wait to start cultivating, P Ricans will definitely be some of my first!
