I know what you mean, but its still called dubstep... Not brostep.. I like the deeper stuff too but I prefer heavy wobble. Like you said to each his own but please don't come in here telling us what dubstep is.  Thats just an endless discussion that would take up useless server space. (Like my posts)

I absolutely LOVE DJG  , so talented....Probably my favorite producer, Eskmo is up there as well. They are both SF/nor-cal natives so i get to see them live quite often 
I really prefer and dig the deeper, non wobbly tech-ish side of dubstep. Great for listening and groovin' a bit.
But when it comes to dancing and raging i enjoy heavier filthy side of dubstep...

Yeah i get you mate. It is an endless discussion and i'm no elitist so i can except your opinions. There is nothing wrong with good wobble some earlyish dubstep does contain great wobbles. However the new school wobble is not good its just a comp: Who can be filthier. I am in no way dissing your taste the above tunes are actually really good there is just a few artists taking it to far.I just wanted to post some good tunes. I dnt use the term brostep that is gay. Also your right it is all dubstep i guess people are just saturated with all this commercial breeze. Each to their own. Long rant. Sorry if i offended you with my previous post.

Almost 3 years late and this album still sits high on my dubstep list...though admittedly I've been sleeping on the scene the past year.
Burial - "Ghost Hardware"
This one is not too bad either, I'm enjoying the fact that LA once again has a 'sound', even if this track was obviously influenced by some Burial/UK Dubsteppin.

Also, i'm a big fan of joanna newsom. this 16bit remix of "book of right on" is pretty ridiculous. the bass quality on this vid is tops.
