What personality traits do you strive to have/improve?

What are the personality traits you want to improve on?
What do you truly strive to be?

This sounds so stupid.

But honestly I hope to be the best me I can be and be true to myself.

You've probably heard that I know I had and was like WTF and then I realized that it's true.

no one is "themselves". everyone copies traits from other people they think are "cool"

Maybe subconciously for me, otherwise I believe I'm 100% myself unless required otherwise (acting essentially for personal gain).

Yea a lot of it is subconscious but it still is your genuine self.

Unless you're trying to just seem like something you're not or you're going against your own beliefs.

well the root "personality", what you strive to obtain, your personal goals, your aspirations etc... are all gained through experience. most palatably during childhood

I strive to use the same philosophy, intensity and consistency i've used in sports over the past year to succeed in upgrading/getting into college/finding meaningful + well paid work/teaching myself.

I feel like i've made alot of progress with diet/physique/lifestyle - but am currently in a rut and feel like my life should be advancing alot differently.

More assertive, being bold, speaking my mind more.  I am making excellent progress with this.  I am no longer afraid of people.

I just want to be 100% consistent in being the best me I can be.

on a personal level i strive to be a person who is humble, selfless and honorable. on an intellectual level i strive to be someone who is fully dialed into my own creative vision and setting and executing plans to achieve the goals i need to in order to manifest my vision. basically i just want to live an honest, happy, fullfilling life of adventure, discovery and creativity. i think finding a spiritual path may provide me the discipline i need in order to become the person i know i can be.

This.  I can speak my mind in an email or online or whatever.  But when it comes to face to face conversations I'm always very quiet even when the other people in the conversation are clearly wrong.

It's weird.  When I'm trying to be funny, I'm actually pretty quick and witty.  But when it comes to debate, I get all frozen.

I'm going with not being a drunk and being more involved with things that are not selfish.

I work with a dude who's been doing computers for 20+ years. Yet he STILL can't get bits vs bytes right.  Drives me bonkers.  Yet, do I say anything? No.

I need to work on always saying what's on my mind.  I'm often too passive.

And also be more like Don Draper (just started watching mad men), minus the cheating on wife and abandoning family.

And lastly your mom
