Mushrooms growing from the carpet

last week it was raining hard and I got a leak in the house then the whole carpet got wet, but I did vacuum most of the water out and it still feels wet and today I found some brown yellowish, rubbery, looks like shell pasta thing on the corner of the carpet lined up together, so my first thought was that it must be some kind of fungus/mushroom, but not your ordinary mushrooms that have a fruitbody.
So I google about mushrooms that grows on carpet and I came up with a picture that looks just like it, but the website only says it's a sprouting mushroom, but doesn't identify the mushroom.

I don't have a camera so this is the mushroom pic I found on the website:

Can someone ID this mushroom? Is it poisonous?
