Is that the origin of the Red Down Under (RDU) variety?

Does anyone know if there is a tek for making an automated monotub without casing from start to finish? I can't find one to save my life, but i've heard it's possible. No casing and you never take the lid off to fan or anything, completely automatic.

Noobie here that just finished harvesting my first batch. Wanted to share a link to the videos that helped me get a successful start. The only problem I had was not sterilizing two of my jars (my PC only holds 10 1/2 pints). The video mentions that using this method it does not require sterilization. That may be true but, I got the green stuff growing in those two jars. However, they colonized at twice the rate and had 100% coverage in five days (I used liquid culture (LC) to just start the colonization).
