I wish I could start having acid flashbacks at will like when I'm in a really boring situation, but strangely enough I've never had any flashbacks. Come to think of it I've never known a single person who has. I'd love to meet someone who claims they have. If they even if exist..

update: Another successful production meeting last Friday. My whole team is on board. It will basically be me, one other producer, and a Camera man for our small but very creative and passionate crew.
One of our first orders of business after I get back from my June adventure is to go out onto the streets of NYC and shoot impromptu interviews with anyone will to talk to us. Basically chatting with people about psychedelic drugs and this case.
I am still in the process of setting up a paypal account. I will post the info here when it's up and running so people who wish to, can donate to our production budget.
all funds will be used toward the production, anything not used will be given to Rudd. at the meeting We were discussing how well a documentary like this would do at film festivals, and we also all agreed that any money made off of it would go straight to Rudd. that's being presumptuous, of course, but just sayin'
would anyone be up for making a "FREE RODERICK WALKER" design that could be used for stickers, t-shirts, website etc???

Sorry about the poor quality it took all of about 5 minutes.
I wanted to make the vertical read 'LSD Not a Crime' but I couldn't figure that out.
Rough draft with MS paint by the way... I'm usually a bit more dedicated to cleanliness and whatnot.

Honestly those designs aren't very good. If you want to gain ANY momentum in getting this guy out of prison, putting "LSD is not a crime" on a logo won't fly well.
The second is too vague, nobody is going to know who "Rudd" is.

Hell yeah, cool idea! Even if it just has the LSD in it...cool to make a vertical phrase also though, way to think outside the box.
I like something like
"No victim no crime"
or
"drug war P.O.W"
or whatever

the logo is simply to raise awareness, but yeah "lsd is not a crime" is probably not the message we want to convey. cuz well, sadly, it is.

That blows, I can't believe someone got smoked that bad. Tell him to keep writing letters to politicians and lawyers that might take his case pro bono. I feel really bad for your friend, can't say the same for Pickard though that rat bastard.

Your best bet on a design that would actually raise awareness is to setup a small website with information on the guy and links to the places you can donate as well as write to him.
Print a lot of stickers with the link to the website, maybe with a small saying on it that sparks curiosity to visit the website.
Something like, "Help Fight Social Injustice."
