k really no one deserves life in prison for spreading joy.. i was in a horrible poop mood after i came home from work... i think about going away for 5 years and even thats horrible... im gona write him a letter.. poor guy really no one deserves that

I'd have to strongly disagree with you there. I'm pretty thoroughly disgusted my tax dollars contribute to incarcerating a non-violent drug offender, especially while executives of companies like Jack Daniels and Capt'n Morgan are sitting in their sky boxes at sporting events as their products are being advertised to 8 year olds and kids even younger.
Charlie Sheen has a public episode in which it is disclosed he had a BRIEFCASE of cocaine at his house and the police refused to even investigate. I'm not necessarily saying he should be in jail either, or any non-violent drug offender for that matter, but it just goes to show how utterly disgusting the corruption in our legal system is.
I'm sure on top of that there have been many actual drug kingpins or large scale dealers, who may have participated in violent/murderous acts who got off with less.
Gross.

One of my friends left me a message today that he wanted to start up a petition for Rudd. I know the White House.org or whatever is accepting petitions, or maybe through Change.org...
What do you guys think?

I think change.org would be more the way to go. Editing is kinda my thing so if someone wants to write up a rough draft I can probably make it all professional to be submitted.
Edit: I was just reading the original posts and that truly is very sad. I'd be glad to write him if I could cheer him up any, but what do you even say to someone in that situation? I wouldn't want to just send the equivalent of "sucks to be you bro."

Anytime you take a case to jury trial you will recieve the max sentence. It's good to hear people are reaching out. Is this guys address still the same as page one? Does anyone know?
Ron Paul would pardon this guy if we could just get him in office!
