Okay quick update. We have pooled some resources and may be able to retain legal counsel. He sent me the below, if anyone can help, please let me know...

This is an automatic reversal and new trial. Please look on line and call around for me it doesn't matter what state they are in as long as they do federal cases. Get back with me soon.

A New York man is facing the possibility of life in prison after being found guilty Friday in a northeastern Oklahoma LSD-distribution case.
A jury found Roderick "Rudd" Walker of Buffalo, N.Y., guilty of taking part in a conspiracy to distribute LSD and four counts of using a telephone to discuss dealing the drug.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert Raley told the jury that evidence during the five-day trial showed that Walker was responsible for the distribution of about 16,500 dosage units of the drug beginning in the summer of 2003.
The jury, which deliberated for more than four hours, found that the conspiracy generated between 10 and 120 grams of the drug. Trial testimony indicated that one hit of LSD consists of 0.0049 grams.
Raley said after the verdict that the amount found by the jury, combined with Walker's previous record, means a life sentence is possible when U.S. Chief District Judge Claire Eagan announces punishment July 14.
Walker, 31, was indicted under seal by a federal grand jury June 10 in Tulsa.
Raley said Walker used to live in the Kansas City, Mo., area.
He said the evidence demonstrated that Walker was seeking another market in Oklahoma for LSD as well as Ecstasy and hallucinogenic mushrooms.
Walker's case became public last summer along with charges filed against five other people who were indicted as a result of the same investigation, which also dealt with other drugs.
The other defendants, all from Missouri, have all pleaded guilty since then to various charges.

Thank you so much yogabunny, I know you've probably heard it a million times before but the work you are doing is extremely important, and I'm glad to know that at least one person on the shroomery is fighting for this cause, that in itself is a small victory.

so they don't even have any evidence that anyone bought lsd from him and the only thing they got was testimony?

rudd is talking to a lawyer who is very knowledgable about conspiracy cases, about the possibility of appeal/a new trial.

lol those prosecutors must not be good at research if you can type it in to google and get a rough estimate. but i guess it works out better for him that way since it makes it look like he has less doses than he "had".

uhm?^ WHY ? 
I think they found X hits, and say 1 hit is that strong...
but you mean that they found X acid, and say 1 is that strong so he had less hits?

yea, because if take the lower number they think he had which is 10 grams
at .0049 grams a hit that would be 2040 hits
if you go by 100 micrograms a hit that would be 100,000 hits

Yeah, but Rudd was at the top of the pyramid in this case, so if they're saying the conspiracy generated X amount, then they are attributing the full amount to him.
When I saw the court papers they actually mentioned the nickname of someone in San Fran that they believed was supplying Rudd, but of course he never gave anyone up...
