how can you stay high after quitting weed?

so i want to quit, not permanently - but for the most part so i can rid me of self doubt and pursue my music interests with confidence and maybe find a way of being happy from that.... at certain times ill go through my pot phases but im thinking of quitting a while so i can feel less anxious and more pro-active about starting this part of my life..
the question im debating tho is- would it be worth the stress to quit weed to be more pro-active about music?
im not sure i really need to quit but i kno that my confidence is higher without the herb and it would be cool if i can find ways to get high without toking by playing music.... before i ever got into weed, music was always a means of getting high for me.
so im trying to figure out if ill be able to keep zoning out without pot.... or i could use other herbs to mix with pot that will put me in a better state of flow when i play music?

Meth, Heroin. cocaine. Morphine. Ecstasy. If you're a total faggot like chowder, i recommend DXM. JWH if you want to feel extremely uncomfortable Salvia Duster Nitrous. LSD Shrooms. Mescaline. Ayahuasca. Jenkem.

Try Adderall, it'll allow you to focus way more on playing guitar than you ever thought you could focus.

Is your reason for smoking pot to zone out? What does that mean exactly? If you mean it that you are getting a release of stress then I would suggest attempting meditation and or meditative art. If you mean that it gives you inspiration, then I would suggest doing the same thing I guess. Meditation is a wonderful alternative if you are trying to come off of a drug (certain kinds of drugs that is).
If you are just looking for a drug replacement, and you want concentration/focus- then may I recommend Piracetam. If you don't know anything about it, I suggest getting the wiki or asking Erowid- but basically, it is a nootropic drug (a smart drug). It acts as a minor stimulant, increased blood flow to the brain, will temporarily raise your IQ score by a statistically significant degree, and will help with a myriad of other medical issues. Plus its completely legal- I take it every day just like a vitamin.

i guess my reason for smoking is how good it makes my body feel and goes with listening and playing music... also makes watching movies and hanging out fun but i think it gives more anxiety then is worth on the average session/ but i guess by zoning out i also mean meditating my consciousness which i guess can be done sober...
ill give Piracetam a try, im guessing you can get it otc so that sounds like a cool idea...

Alcohol is also extremely unhealthy, so, I would recommend smoking lots of weed over drinking alcohol anyday.

If you even feel slightly buzzed, that means you are intoxicated by alcohol.
Do you realize what this word even means?
TOXICATED
T-O-X-I-C
I consider alcohol a hard drug, in the fact on the effects of alcohol on the body are enormous (weakens immune system, ability to fight off diseases, slows overall metabolism, slows protein synthesis, slows energy transfer rate, slows ATP)
The list goes on and on.. that one beer is more than enough to inhibit your for a day or two before you are free of alcohol.
Cannabis doesn't really give you anxiety, and if it does, that means something is more or less wrong with your life. Odds are something is bothering you and you don't want to admit it, I've been there. There was a point in my life I thought I didn't like weed cuz of how it made me feel. nope, it's because I was already feeling like shit and I used weed to mask it.
But if it gives you anxiety, you should smoke less, and just meditate and see how you feel. Anxiety is easy to beat

A beer a day is not healthy. One glass of red wine contains anti-oxidants and some heart-health stuff, but there is a difference between how wine is made and how beer is made.

Actually drinking in moderation is not bad for you. They have studies that have shown people who drink in moderation live longer. Google what drinking in moderation is. By U.S. standards its 1-4? drinks per time and no more then 9 drinks per week. Varies by countries.

i think using a different drug will lead you to the same problem of dependence further down the road.
when i read the title i thought you were looking for advice for how to incorporate the perspective cannabis gives you into your sober life, is this what you are after?

I guess i was thinking how to just keep collected and happy without smoking weed everyday but i think mindfulness and meditation is the key. But i did just get some homegrown/super pure weed that a friend worked on and i think this type of weed is fine to smoke once every couple days and for partys. To be honest i think im just gonna keep a strict diet of only the purest cannabis and not use often enough to burn me out.
