Embalming fluid drug use on the rise

SYRACUSE -- Marijuana and cigarettes dipped in embalming fluid or
"water", as it is known on the street, have been around for years but
use of the chemical, especially by teens in Syracuse, is on the rise.
Dr. Elizabeth Berry works for Crouse Hospital's Chemical Treatment
Services. Dr. Berry says inhaling embalming fluid, especially when
laced with other chemicals such as PCP, can cause violent unpredictable
behavior and lead to serious side effects.
Dr. Berry says most teens are not aware how dangerous embalming fluid
is. One reason perhaps are videos on YouTube which seem to glorify the
smoking of embalming fluid laced cigarettes.
Right now, police don't track the use of embalming fluid because it is
not illegal although some say it should be. In the meantime, police and
health care workers are urging parents to educate their children about
the dangers of using embalming fluid to get high...a chemical that
should only be used in bodies long after they're dead.

It is, people that smoke actual embalming fluid are getting high the same way people that huff glade are. Its probably just a misunderstanding though, they are probably really smoking PCP.
we always called pcp embalming fluid in highschool, not because it was embalming fluid, but because it smelled like formaldehyde, we werent stupid enough to think they were the same thing....

If some kid is stupid enough to steal embalming fluid from a morgue and smoke it then he deserves any damage he does to himself.
and embalming fluid *is* slang for pcp, some tard probably heard someone talking about it and thought it was the same.
"Hey guys, I heard you talking about getting high on embalming fluid the other day. Well my uncle owns a morgue and he has tons of that shit laying around! I say we rob that place and get high!"

I just had to stop someone from smoking that shit, I got a call asking for an ID on a random chemical which was formaldehyde. I dunno where they got it, dunno why they thought it was something that would get you high, dunno why I didn't just let them smoke it and thin out the stupidity in the population. I guess at least they were smart enough to ask around before just ingesting it.... who wants to play a game, lets go drink from the bottles under the sink
