if I inject myc/sterile water solution to straight hmanure, I imagine the mycelium will be much faster than any possible contamination (but it won't have much food)
but im probably wrong, right?

I'm pretty sure contams can take hold in less than a week. Also, keep in mind that if it hasn't been sterilized, it could be contaminated from the start.

What spawn ratio do you use? Also, have you ever tried just making a bunch of poo cakes and casing them, instead of spawning to bulk?

i will try it i get this week from a german member from Zauberpilz.com
PAN JAMAIKA and i have nothing to lose to try it. with two glasses.
I make a lot of PF tek but i use always PC for sterelising.
not as often like what i do if i use rye grain but minimal one time.
sorry for my bad english but i´m german and i´m not so good in writing.
but understand it very good

Guys, he's obviously talking about boiling the cakes rather than pcing for those who don't have a pressure cooker. It's not as if they aren't sterilized, they just aren't pced.

Yep, Cakes can be sufficiently sterilized in a pot with a tight fitting lid at 90 minutes with no problems.

A guy around here, scatman said he tried it. Said 1 jar out of 10 (or something like that) actually worked.

Hello,
Without a PC? I am confused here. Shea referred to
his other page for how to make the cakes.
While it is a 1:1:1:1 with poo rather than a 1:2:1 ratio,
it does refer to the use of a PC:
"Once the rocker on top of the PC starts to rock turn the heat right down to just keep it to a slight rock and start your 60 minute count down"
I need to clarify my Pan-Cyan process. I am trying to
grow some LC to allow for better inoculation. If this
works, then I will be starting cakes in a week or two.

Javadog, you can use a PC or not for cakes. So maybe thats what you had read..

I think you got me mixed up with someone else, I've never done cakes and I've never done grain unsterilized. My rates are also better then 10%
