This is a new track Deadmau5 has been working on. Don't know why half of the comments have to rag on him... it's like holy fuck he's nice enough to post a work in progress. I guess it isn't the most innovative thing ever, but it's still a decent track.

not really dubstep, but i went out to a drum and bass party last night and one of the DJs dropped a couple tracks i had never really heard anything like before. it was like minimal DnB with IDM sounding drums (not the usual canned drums stuff, sounded a lot like simple synth drums.)
anyone heard anything like that?
sick as sin has been my ringtone for the past 6 months. too bad no one ever calls me!

Seems like dubstep is breaking into a bit of DnB... what they call DnBstep or Drumstep.
Not sure if that's what you heard.

Im glad everyone here has gotten into dubstep. I got into it about two years ago while living in Finland.
One new artist I ran across in the States lately is Vaski. Check him out.

That's what I like about Deadmau5, he seems less distant than most artists. He's pretty good about posting random shit on his facebook page. Funny dude.

This thread needs some fresh tunes, most of the stuff posted here has been rinsed over and over...I mean i still dig a lot of the older stuff, but check it out...
I can 99.9% guarantee these tunes will be new to your ears, as they have all been just released, or are about to>>>>
The first few are on the chill side of dubstep, they progressively get more up beat, heavier, and filthier....

What tunes did ya already post?....I haven't read every single page of this thread so i may have missed it, but props to you for keeping up on the new tunes ....
Though, IMO, generally speaking...A lot of new stuff coming out is mediocre. You gotta sift through and find the good stuff. With the increasing popularity of Dubstep, there has been a flood of generic sounding tunes. Or a lot of tunes seem to be aimed primarily at the dance floor, super heavy peak hour sorta stuff. And i think this is where a lot of people get the impression of all dubstep sounding the same, just wobbles, bass, and squelchy robotic sounds haha....But in reality, there is such a diverse sound when it comes to DS, so many influences and "Sub genres".
....Damn, to much coffee, don't even know where i'm going with this...Just gonna stop now...

I posted up the 16bit rmx of Machine Gun, and I thought I posted the Starkey tune in this thread, but it may have been one of the 8000 dubstep threads in the pub.
Agreed on the quality of tunes these days... things have changed.
Oh well, at least Starkbot is releasing a new album in April, and Mala is releasing an 3x12" in May! Huge news!!!!
