Thats a Bromeliad, Bilbergia - Queens Tears
I was given her 5 years ago when she was about 3cm tall. Was advised by the previous owner that the plant had been through 'many' hands and no one could get it to grow.
I potted her into some decent mix and neglected her, like one should do with all bromeliads(except cryptanthus)
I think it was last year that this particular Bilbergia had 4 flower stalks at once, it was stunning. Bilbergia flowers only live for a few days to a week or so.

I like flowerzzzz.........
Some hoya's that are flowering nicely in my garden
and a bigass cactus flower, a Stapelia sp.
They start large and open
A few hours later the petals fold back

and there's more flowers coming ..............

@olive: Nice hoya. I'm sure your Stapeliad is S. grandiflora if you weren't sure.

Those Hoya's are awesome!
A cool little thistle from todays amazingly unsuccessful mushroom hunt

This little succulent popped out mountains of these flowers all at once, walked out in the morning and the whole tree was covered where there were none the day before.

Cheers all.

Lots of pretty things out in the garden at the moment.
The colours on this rose is the main reason it's allowed to stay in the garden.

A Mandevilla:

Not sure on these other two just trying to work them out now. (I didn't buy them )

Cheers all.
