eating mycelium to trip

I read somewhere that one could eat the mycelium from a shroom cake to trip. How would one go about doing this safely cosidering there is vermiculite throughout the mycelium? Something involving cranberry juice?

Only use cakes that have had a few flushes. Mycellium that hasnt been fruited off of doesnt work very well(takes 4+ cakes for threshold effects, 1-2 cakes after they have had a few flushes).

Break up the cakes as good as possible, more surface area the better. Put it in a big bowl and pour cranberry juice over it. Put some crushed up vitamin c in there too 1 or 2 thousand mg is good. Stir, stir, stir, wait, stur it up more. Let it sit for an hour or 2. Then filter the solid stuff out with a tshirt or somthing.

Mycellium looks really wierd in liquid form floating around cranberry juice.
