I put out some contaminated BRF cakes a few days ago. I checked on them last night in the dark. As soon as i flicked my lighter to get a look at it, i saw dozens of bugs scatter, and i even saw a furry worm like insect crawl under the cake.
I definatly won't be eating any of the fruits.

Lol its outside.. there's all kinds of visible shit on and around it. Guess you'd never eat naturally growing mushrooms? Not to mention there's microscopic shit all over it anyway even inside your fruiting chamber.

Usually they are less dense and less potent(outdoor cubensis), due to a lack of nutrients and prime conditions (compared to homegrown cubensis) and constant exposure to UV rays which break down psilocybin/psilocin

I'm sorry but i need to disagree, cubes from my outdoor patch were more potent then my indoor set up. then again i live in FL and conditions tend to be optimal.

I didnt mean conditions, as much as I did the lack of nutrients available in the wild compared to the concentrated amounts used in home grows, and being closer to the equator you receive more UV rays, decreasing the amount of psilocin/psilocybin over time but the science speaks for itself, you must be lucky

Well their was some planning involved. like, one the cakes were buryed right next to a compost pile. it was also set to rain the same day i buryed em, when it rains the humidity in FL is close to 99%
the sunlight was indirect, as the compostpile was under a mango tree.
