Koraks, Mycohunter (*EDIT- I guess he is perma-banned now, for being a "malicious puppet"), and I thought it would be a good idea to have a confirmed dried active mushroom thread to help out the poor souls who commonly post bunk psychedelic mushrooms in this forum. It is frightening how often people get ripped off on here.

Someone is going to get poisoned. :puke:

If you think your shrooms are not authentic, peruse this thread to see what dried active mushrooms tend to look like.

Post pictures of dried, confirmed active fungi, with genus, species, and (if possible) strain names here.

NOTE: This is by no means a substitute for a good, positive, ID. If you have any doubts, DO NOT EAT THEM.

Felt left out so wanted to uplooad some of my stuff to help others.... Just grabbed a handfull of each from my jars. My biggest cube is 6.1g :fonda:

Is there a database anywhere of dried images of poisonous, deadly, and lookalike mushrooms?

If there isn't, should we begin collecting images in the interest of harm reduction?

I realize that mushrooms are way harder to identify when dried, but with enough images and a description one might be able to nail it down to at least the genus, right? Thoughts?

Usually if there is a light brown cap, and some bluish tint on the stem.
