PF tek sucks is back. Cake 1: 87.7 grams. Cake 2: 95 grams. Half pint jars. "Strain" is Transkei (MS). Special thanks to RR, Roadkill, Creamcorn, Tahoe, Doc_T, FeelFunny, Noobieshroomie,Truskool, Veda_Sticks, Shea25, Artizen, badman and every other shroomery member.

Like I said in the previous PF tek sucks thread I use a different substrate: 50% brf + 50% buckwheat flour. Buckwheat is THE brf alternative IMO. However I am now sure the substrate has nothing to do with these performances. I use a different pinning strategy and I am thinking to write a tek in the next few weeks so you can tell me your opinion.

First off Awesome job man!

In the first picture it looks like 1 side of your terrarium does not have holes. Is this the case? my buddy's been having problems keeping humidity unless he mists like every 2 hours and he has lots of holes on every side.

It looks like you have a lot of perlit in your fruiting chamber, How thick is it, and I bet that helps with humidity.

No, I've got about 150-170 holes on all six sides. That is why I had to tape some holes. :lol:

It's a 3 inches perlite layer. But that's pretty standard.
