It seems that almost every UFO incident is an attempt, on part of the UFO occupants, to get our attention. They definitely want us to see them and they go to great lengths to ensure that we do. It appears to be their primary motivation for many of these UFO encounters.
It wouldn't make sense for them to hover and sit in our night skies, emitting dazzling multi-colored light displays, if they didn't want to be seen. Perhaps they're trying to slowly acclimate us to their presence through these brief sightings. Maybe they do want to reveal their existence to the greater human population. This could be the beginning stage of that process.

Seems like its a secret pleasure for most then. Desire to fit in restricts their openness.

I feel like an alien! I look at this world--the world--ie the MATRIX, MADE by a mindset which is completely disconnected even from its own physical body, it interelationship with all others, including all other species, spiritual understanding and the universe--so I feel i can FEEl other beings who also may very well share this seeing them as like blind brats totally without any sensibility YET with extremely destructive technology that is fukin everything up. HOW to get through is the thing. Individuals and groups are trying here, and I feel that what ever these beings are too-- they also are trying ways and means to ....to.....inspire human psyches to understand reality in deeper ways, before it is too late.

you are on the right track. the encounters seem more like stage acts or made to happen in a way to enforce a specific belief in the witness.
