That looks like a very simple yet effective grow bucket. Very nice.
My only small suggestion is maybe put them on a stainless steal rack to get them out of standing water.
looks great though.

interesting plant grow setup you have there.
I use a carefully selected mixture of sand and peat moss. And by carefully selected I do mean randomly dumped in a terracotta pot using whatever I had handy at the time.

Pretty sweet Looks real nice all wet and glossy.
As far as trying it goes, it just gives me the spins (without the nausea though) and puts me into a repetitive waterfall-like dream state

I don't plan on letting her get that tall. I grow Bonsai style. I harvest leaves and take cuttings quite frequently, I'm building a "Clone Army"
Again, thanks all for the warm welcome.

I just listen to what she wants. When I tried to move her into low humidity slowly, she got very angry with me.

Why would I want smaller, slower growth?
You won't get smaller, slower growth once it's acclimated. I don't know where you heard that, but it's not true.

Look at Cigo's thread for a good example of the growth of an already acclimatised plant and one that traveled and needed re-acclimatising. there are pics of 2 clones that came from the same mother plant at the same time.
There is no doubt that while a salvia plant gets used to new surroundings it practically stops any growth for a matter of weeks.
I find the way you're growing to be very interesting, almost hydroponic and Hydroponic salvia plants grow like crazy. Salvia plants get terrible root rot from a wet soil mix when it just sits in stagnant wet soil, which of course isnt whats going on in your bucket.
If possible at some point take 2 cuttings from teh mother plant and grow one in soil outside this environment and one inside and do a side by side test. We may all learn something new about this tempermental bitch of a plant.
