 anyone ever turn a giftcard into cash? aside from sellin it to someone u know or whatever

over the years, what used to be a certain amount of cash from someone, has most of the time turned into those visa and mastercard and such set debit card or whatever. that or actual gift certificates. just as well wonderin if u could turn a gift certificate into cash, but, theres gota be a way to turn that visa or mastercard no? jut wonderin if anyones tried it and how u could do it.

I saw quite a few ads on Craigslist claiming that they turn your giftcards into cash or something but I've never tried it nor do I know how this works. I don't really see why anyone would do this so it may just be a scam but you could check it out.

i think you saw the ones where they change your cash into a giftcard.
usually they offer you a 1:2 ratio (250 in cash gets you a 500 dollar gift card)
the trick is that they actually use stolen CC numbers to purchase the giftcards. they go with you sometimes to the homedepot,walmart, etc to verify the Gift Card even, but then suddenly a week later when you go to use it, (or even the same day sometimes) it doesnt work because the charge is refuted and the company denies the card.

I would say your best bet would just be to go to the store that your giftcard is to (with the receipt) and offer to sell it to a customer in line for slightly less than its value
Ive done this at Target and other retail stores several times. Dont know about the Visa debit cards though

Nah, I'm 100% sure that they are claiming to turn giftcards into cash, I'm looking at an ad right now actually.

it might work once or twice but there are way to many people doing this with ill-gotten cards for you not to get, at best, banned from the store.

never saw that one before.
truthfully, if it's too good to be true it probably is. unless it's some construction company, painting company, etc looking for home depot cards or something of the sort, i can't imagine why anyone would do that.

I've never been successful trying to accomplish this RP. Trying to sell it for slightly lesser value is the best thing I know of.

these 3 sets of golf balls are 100 bux????
the boxes of nike golf balls were somewhere around the 70-80 dollar range back when i was doing this. my math wasn't the greatest though thats for sure.
