I have a flowhood and conditions for redistribution but I'm broke these days.
My paycheck is late, got a HUGE electricity bill this month.
If someone is willing to contribute for the postage I'll be happy to do it.
I just have to see how much is the postage to have the correct amount.
I can do up to 5 people if thats OK with you.

Are you both happy with agar wedges as opposed to slants?

I think Lipa is charging $50 for the cultures to be sent as slants as
opposed to wedges in centrifuge vials. He is doing this to account for
material costs and shipping so they do not get damaged.

That being said, I THINK Lipa offered to send one set of culture slants
over to a euro distributor to cut into wedges and then distribute to all
the contributing members.

Right... Do we even need a Euro distributor? Cant each of get a set of slants or vials sent from USA? Redistributing means there will be time added for people to get their cultures.

I bet if your willing to pay Lipa for time/shipping, he would work something out...
When your already getting 40 strains for alittle over $2 each, i dont think waiting a few weeks is gonna hurt anyone here...
Its already a huge undertaking as is...

Assuming there's only 3 or 4 of us in Europe, no need to have a distributor indeed.

You will all have to wait for Lipa to chime in, having sent a few packages
to Europe I personally know postage for a small package can be from
$10-17 a piece. As far as I can tell there are 5 members outside of
North America, making shipping costs to send centrifuge vials $50-85
just to those 5 members.

I think the whole point of find a distributor over seas was to save
Lipa the high cost of shipping wedges over. We will all have to wait for
his input tho

So we have 5 people outside the US?
I am cool with sending wedges to 5 outside participants from over seas,

I would like to know by PM what each individual would like if you haven't already. WEDGES or SLANTS? I would appreciate this soon so I can plan my culture work out. There are a total of 640 culture pieces. I want to do everything in order so things run smoothly.

These are all part of your trials. You need to test them all under YOUR
conditions. It is not as easy as me giving you details, since the
temperature requirements vary according to all kinds of factors like the
substrate and the number and ID of the competitive organisms. A strain that
fruits well in the tropics, like LE U8, often also fruits just fine in the
arctic weather due to different variables.

I dont see there being a problem with adding new people to the list if base and tangich are unable to fulfill their contribution. That way we have extra money for supplies and postage.
