as soon as your weather gets warm with no threats of major snow and freezes ( mainly just once the ground can be dug up ) START THE BEDS also note in my pics above - at good personal patches a nice cover of cardboard helps keep them HAPPY n the hot heat of summer ( gives em needed shade too ) also water as often as you can!!! don't keep em submerged or drown them - but they LIKE moisture- then come fall

Logging in after a couple of days off - and my eyes nearly fell out! Azures apparently attacking a still living plant! So much for saprophytic! In light of this, I wonder what experiments we can dream up between us...? Perhaps giving those azzies a little boost in expanding their range to the UK as a means of thistle and bramble control

Maybe some ovoids too...? Heck, why not just get all the spores of all the woodlovers sent over here and let them battle it out. Bohemica, cyanofibrillosa, arcana, caerulipes, argentipes, sylvatica, pelliculosa, serbica, cyanofriscosa, subaeruginascens, ...just off the top of my head. Yes mate a concerted effort over the years to introduce as many woodlovers as possible to these Isles would be a just and noble cause! I've certainly got a hobby for life now together we can make a real difference!
