It's pretty epic yeah, but I like the vibe of two other stages more than that stage (the Village) because it can get a little aggro hah.
I seem to spend most of my time at the Labyrinth or the Living Room.. and the enchanted forest chill spot by the Living Room is a must-find. (Although it's called something every year, one year it was the rabbit hole, another it was Neverland -from Peter Pan)
And as far as live dubstep, for me it gets seriously monotomous, but I guess if you're on K or something it's the best shit ever.
And the best dubstep I've heard for live shit is when its with breaks (or even straight up Glitch Hop) like Bassnectar, Ill.Gates, Max Ulis / the Lighta Crew / dj self-evident, Mr Rogers. But that's just personal preference.

were you there when Seed of Life had their own psychedelic ambient/dub stage in a huge tent near the psytrance stage? they were the shit... unfortunately they moved out of shambhala because it was attracting more bar star types.

Yeah the seed was the heart of Shambhala, and since it's been gone Shambhala hasn't been the same.
they started a festival called Entheos instead. I checked that fest out in 2008, and its definitely full of the beautiful people from the seed.
oh well, I'm still going and volunteering my time for it because it takes a lot of effort to put together and there are some aspects of it that I really like still.
