 Q about growing mex a sclerotia

If I inoculate sterilized grass-seed in a jar and it's 100% colonized should I put it in a light spot to grow sclerotia or can I just leave the jar in the incubator?
I guess I have to keep the jar in the incubator, but I wanted to make sure.

I'm not positive, but from what i've gathered they are left in the dark for about 2 months for the stones to form

also, you can incubate up to 4 months for more/larger stones. you won't get twice as much, but it will be more.

Light or dark doesn't matter. It will produce equally well (and with well i mean VERY GOOD!)
Even temperature doesn't seem to influence sclerotia formation very much. Equal yields were obtained from crops grown at an average temperature of 25oC as from crops grown at 20oC.
Just make sure they are not too hot or they will start to sweat. This sweat (yellow droplets) support bacterial growth, so if one bacteria finds it's way into your jar or bag it will surely spoil the whole thing turning your sclerotia to a stinky mush!
Maximum yields were 3 months after inoculation not getting bigger after that period.
