Bolete Growing Under Pines

Habitat: Central NJ USA under Pines
Gills Pores: Olive. Stem:10cm long, 2-3cm thick, reticulated, widening at base (club-like). Cap: 12cm wide, chestnut brown, wavy, firm. Spore print color: olive Bruising: dark brown. Other: These slices were frozen. The whitish tinge on some of the pieces is a bit of frost.
The story behind this mushroom: I found four boletes on Thanksgiving morning, and ID'd them as Boletus edulis. I served two at the table, and saved two to show people. One of my friends is from Poland, and used to mushroom hunt when she was a little girl. She said that I misidentified one of the mushrooms, and that it is a Sillius sp.
I cut it up the mushroom and froze it, hence the pics of a sliced up mushroom. I did my best to puzzle the slices back together.
IMO, there's no way that this is a Sillius, but based on a discussion with CureCat, I decided to post anyway.

Thank you for that, Cure. I was waiting for your response. Now I can sleep.

This mushroom is easier to ID than yours. There are a lot of brick-capped, yellow-pored boletes, and they're harder to distinguish because of their similarities.
(note the correct usage of there, they're, and their in this sentence )

I don't want to have to think about what I'm saying; how about you do it for me?
