Here are a few more of my essential TIPS for those of you who are true psychonaut explorers.......
Try to go into your mushroom trips with a grain of salt, but at the same time take it very seriously. The real key I have found is to ignore all WORRY, and especially FEAR. Just ignore all those little inside triggers that may lead to fear, since fear will almost always be greatly AMPLIFIED or magnified greatly.....as is the case with any emotion good or bad. So just throw all your inner worries and negative thoughts to the wind! Toss them away as if they are nothing, and totally embrace love & positivity. "Surrender" to the approaching experience, and realize & accept that you CANNOT control it.....just like we all really cannot control LIFE itself. If you try to CONTROL it you will find yourself at odds with those real entities which really do exist in that realm. The trip or secret of it is, to form a conscious "relationship" with it....or should I say with them....and try your best to make that relationship positive by turning (surrendering) to humility and deepest respect. This is the way I have learned to make 'friends' with the ELVES. You definitely don't want to make enemies or be at odds with them or they will turn on you and send you head-on into into a real MIND FUCK!
Forming a positive, respectful relationship with the spiritual & hyperdimensional world of those conscious entities is very much no different in ways to how we all form relationships with people in the world....and also with your own inner higher self. Respect is of course a two way street, and just like you cannot control another human being and expect to get anywhere with it or get anything of real positive value out of it, the same principle applies in that you cannot control 'hyperdimenional beings' as well. So dont even try, and don't fool yourself into thinking you can, or you will be a fool and find yourself on the wrong side of the spectrum - at odds with both your own inner self and the experience itself and those entities you'll find in that space.
The illusion of believing we can control anything in life is just that - an illusion of the ego. Let go of that shit and surrender to the conscious positivity that is there waiting to teach you lessons far beyond your imagination.
Make friends with the elves, and they will make friends with you.
Take your own personal HIGHER POWER with you....inviting it vocally into the experience and see what happens! This is the great secret key of which unlocks the door to not just good trips....but the very BEST TRIPS! This is only my own experience lessons I have learned for myself which I am now willing to share with all those who really want to discover what I have discovered for myself. If it works for me, then chances are it will likely work for someone else.
If you don't believe in any Higher Power or Source (which I simply refer to as GOD) - then in my opinion you are one sad and blind fool. Just my personal opinion, so please don't take my views personally. Simply take my advice or leave it. Find it out for yourself, which is truly my hope.... for anyone who reads this.
Remember there are both negative and positive sides in the conscious universe. A side that is based in fear and hate, and wants only to have fun at your own expense and torment. But there is also a side which is based in LOVE and 'open' positivity which is willing to share the secrets of the universe with those who tune in their own frequencies to that same "station" of love and light.
The universe is not only black or white...love or fear, but all ranges of the spectrum....neutral elves....and so on. Its a vast universe and we are fools to think in terms of 'black & white'.. good or bad.
But I do believe that ultimately it is all made up of different shades (or colors) of one side of this spectrum or the other. Just like people in the physical world, but likely a whole lot more vast and expansive.
I came up with this little saying - "Love Embraces love Accepts, fear repels fear rejects" ......that is when speaking of the 'pure conscious moment' that we are all participating in..... all the time.
By the way, FEAR is in fact the root of hate. Not the other way around.
'Love & fear' (as I see it) are the two "root" polar opposites that make up the conscious universe. There have been DMT trips which seem to completely back this up to my satisfaction. And in my own experiences & shroom trips, there is simply no question about it.
Remember that psilocybin/ psilocin is basically an orally active form of DMT.
So to sum up my own lesson: Simply learn keep your heart tuned into the LOVE...and all positive good stuff, which love is ultimately the foundation of. If you do then you'll be in tune with the positive elves, just like tuning a radio to the brightest station on the dial. The positive elves are the ones who wish to help you grow, as apposed to the negative ones who only wish to destroy you and your inner peace, and ultimately only wish share their own misery with you. So take my simple advice and just ignore 'fear' and throw all worry to the wind....just as you would ignore static on the radio. Its all about where your focus is. Keep your eye focused on the positive stuff, and ask your higher Source to help you keep it clear.
Again all this is simply what I myself have learned in my own expeditions into that fantastic, hyperdimensional conscious space. For me this has become the most consistent and absolute KEY wisdom I can possibly share.
We are all connected, like cells in one body. So we might as well share our wisdom freely with each other or else it will do the world no good at all. The trick is to practice realizing this all the time, and live it.
That is about all I got FOLKS!

I'm pretty selective when it comes to settings, I like to plan my trip in advance and concern myself with the different variables that could play into my trips. I don't really like to be surprised when I'm tripping, since I will be vulnerable and if I feel bad vibes I will extract myself from a situation immediately and continue my trip elsewhere. Nature trips can be very neutral for me but I love to be around others and in groups as well.

me personally, I ate 3.5 grams dry(cubes) my first time tripping. Had a very mild, but pleasurable trip. Mild visuals as the carpet seemed alive and a great sense of euphoria. This only lasted about an hour.
I only believe that this was so because the shrooms were not dried properly, although I am not entirely sure that was why. Since then 2g of cubies have been perfect for me.

I must recomend to ALL of you, to download and listen to the greatest psychonaut of all time, and even since his unfortunate death in 2000.....his fame continues to grow. I believe he is one of the greatest and most colorfully articulate philosophers of all time!
If you are someone who is truly interested someone who will enlighten and often BLOW your mind....... might I recomend that you get to know the late great ****Terence Mckenna****
Read up on his "time wave theory" which he and his brother Dennis both came up while tripiing on wild p. cubensis in the amazon during the 70s.
I have tons of his best lectures and interviews on MP3 and I would be most happy to share with anyone interested?

yeah... if they weren't fully dried, your dosage calculation scale would have been shifted upwards. meaning you'd have to eat a larger mass of undried shrooms due to the added mass of water-weight.

this is my 1st time trying 2 grow mushrooms. i picked up 4 12cc syriNges of amazonian. im using the pftek & trying 2 control the humidity with a wet perlite layer. i was wondering if any1 could help me.

They were definitely dry enough, I remember them being very brittle.
I had bruised the shit out of them, and dried them using a space heater. haha. I realize now that I was an idiot. Kind of lucky that I actually tripped at all.
I just lost most of the psilocybin content when I dried them.

interesting poll, my 2 favoriot things, tripping and talking about tripping. did paper for 2 years in highschool like clockwerk, every 3 days. 1st trip age 13, 5 years later i had tripped 500 times and tripped with someone else may be 20 times. burned alot of weed too. after highschool, i never missed a day, i went to art colledge in MD and found mushies. my friend had an 1800's bath tub and knew what to do with it, the mushies were everywhere. it was hot in baltimore, we ate them, there were a lot of them...any way, i found that the 3 day wait rule applied to shrooms too, so i did that every 3 days for a year and a half.
i have a natural knack, people loved to give me tripps. many first timers have come to me, and i'm always willing to ablidge. tripping is important, so attempting to manage it isn't a bad idea.
1'st timers i start with a full shot, or cupped handfull wet, or in metric system 3-4 grams, or enough to get you to level 3ish.
give them the pile and say, "that's yours"then i reccomend nibbling over an hour. see what happens...2 grams or half the 40 gram pile wet is usually as far as they get, and have a blast. then they can trip again and do what ever they want, just remember to care for the left over mushies for them, they will want thenm in 3 days.
audio is important to me...music it is. i have dyselixia so tripping is extra fun for me. music is really cool. i just wanted to tos that in.
fear and tripping: best cure is an experienced tripper.
if you are tripping properly you have to deal with your vuneralblness your in ability to defend yourself. hence the need for an un interupted safe space to trip in for a number of time. ie if your mom dosent know you are tripping and has your number, for gawd sakes unplug the stupid phone!pic music ahead...oh, you kids don't have to fiddle with albums any more(it can take a good 20 minutes to flip a record when you are laughing uncontrolably) get tat set up ahead of time. have plenty of supplys, drinks smokes gum, always have a selection of gum
oh, my room mate made a pile of boomers and laid 50 g's on me last night, it was funny, really funny.

I just had a thought. You all know how old the Shroomery is......as in ANCIENT compared to the internet as a whole! Its really a phenomenon! Its even one of the "BIG BOARDS" according to the BIG BOARDS that keep record of all them big boards, ya know??!!!
And boy has it grown! Like a big ass mushroom! Just like out from nowhere!??? Mysterious eh??? A mushroom patch of a board!
And perhaps this board will last forever? I do not know. I was recently very cynical towards the shroomery, since its changed so much over the years!
I changed my name 3 times since I first shroomaloomed on in here, back in 99' I think. I was originally "Maxawow".....and then Surwin_Maxawow....and now....... In case all you guys wanted to know, I am now Sherwin Maxawow......cuz I guess it just seems to have a better ring to it! I don't know! Haha!
Actually the name itself came to me after I thought I was gonna die from DXM overdose,,,back when I was just a wee 21 year old lad, and I was walking home...and had this strange vision in my head of some unique very charismatic like person, like some Hollywood hero everyone likes....yet in just a sorta kinda way!
And then name came to me.... first as something like Sherwin Max'owell or something like 'Maxwell' yet it had a unmistakable middle syllable that would not fade! Well....as the story goes....the name finally evolved, & emerged into what you guys know so very well today! And Sherwin Maxawow.....well, he is a cool guy!
My true creative self comes out when I post on Winamp's Milkdrop preset board! Why do I share this? I guess because its there......and so why not share!

Surrender to it, and form a relationship with it and then the doors will open! But most especially if you bring God along! Its like turning on the LIGHTS! NO SHIT!

I only hope you seekers find the same success I have in trying my suggestions!
DO TRY IT! Like as in FOR REAL,,, I URGE YOU ALL! All I want you all to experience is the same kind of stuff I have experienced! They blow all other trips of mine (no matter what the dose is) completely out of the water!
I have shroomed HARD too, and been shrooming off and on since 17 years old. I am now 36. Its my religion. HONESTLY! If I were to make an accurate estimate count of all my trips large and small ...it would have to be up around 80 + and the last 30 have been all super high dose trips! ---- Especially after my learning how NOT to have a bad trip--- which I just now shared with you all!
Its a gateway.....like DMT.....its not just a drug! Anyone who begs to differ...please, please bring on the debates! I'll kick ass!

I would be thrilled and happy and joyfully pleased....and so on------ to answer any ANY questions!
I love to enlighten others...........as every time I do........I myself become more & more enlightened! ---
----Its like how "water flows" --- flowing, and when we let it ~flow~ ....FREELY<----(key word)......which must also be for someone else, (for THEM...and THEIR GOOD purely) -- any good solid open receiver of a conscious being, then-------- the Source or "wellspring" of it all flows into, and through us....to those we are GIVING our light and LIFE to, and we learn as we teach! It all like magnifies....as we magnify another......(and do it right)....we magnify too, and I have had many experiences on and offline when I was blowing my own mind at the same time I was blowing someone elses. So just realize, I aint trying to prove anything!
Sigh--- once more--- ITS ALL LIKE A "LIVING WATER" or life stream........ like that one "little stream" who they called GIVE! haha! And what did GIVE say? Give said give oh GIVE.....and realizing how small (humility) he was.......he knew inside it was not important, for the grass....grows greener still!
Jesus knew (or I should say KNOWS)all this stuff most perfectly! And He dedicated His entire life and death....and beyond....to being a true flowing stream of life, for a world that had no chance unless HE came, and that is why HE DID COME!
OH But BUT. (as some fools often say)- BUT JESUS CAUSES SO MUCH WARS AND STUPID RELIGIONS AND SHIT---- and I know! But all that hooplah, is NOT what HE caused! He only planted a very POWERFUL SEED, by His life,,,,and WE........MAN(fucking-kind) did all the rest!
I mean.. JUST THINK.......every BIG major action in socioty, (like the 60's even) always stirs shit up! Like duh!
So Don't EVEN blame Christ for it ANYTHING....OK?! Blame the idiot himself, MAN! We are the only ones who can be blamed for our own ways of seeing things and doing things....and fucking everything,, EVERY TIME! BUT--------WE WILL SHED THE OLD SKIN! And This year too by the way! Or else, we are fucked! Now I do not want to lose and be lost, cut off from the gift of being accepted into the UNIVERSAL COLLECTIVE OF GOD! 2012.

I only write this..........and share with my heart, because I had a vision recently on "a lot" of p. Cyans.....and HE SHOWED ME! Just like always, as long as I ask...and I am humble! HE always shows me, and WHY? I suppose haha...HE LOVES ME!
And I am learning HIS awesome Love! Come along and we will have a future that is so bright!
Anyway....please be open to me..............because there is indeed a very important reason for it all! And its something which we must SOON come into complete, unified awareness about---- and I must explain it to you all, or I and YOU....we all will will all suffer greatly.... in the not to distant future! But on the other hand, if we take the easier way which is to WIN! Then we will----- well, it will be beyond my own imagination! I KNOW THIS.
Any ideas of what I am referring to?--- as in dates or times? Hmmm?

I AM GROWING IN LOVE...........right here, and right now. And yes....just like that very cool song.......we need to wake ourselves up, and watch the whole world wake up from HISTORY! We must be one..........or ELSE WE WILL BE NONE!
WE either embrace our unified collectivity in love and NONE "judgement" or both our own selves and others..... (and btw... there happens to be is a very special and unique way in which that actually works! It is not quite as simple as i currently am (probably) making it sound to many of you! But I will explain it later.

I Spent nearly the entire 90's battling an illness they said I would never be free of! Well.......haha......guess what!
By the way......HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all! This 2010 will be a calm before the storm. It will also help us to find ourselves.........or else we can choose to become too relaxed and let down our guard, in a meloncolly of entrapy and foolishnesss.......and LET ME TELL YOU. YOU DONT WANT TO KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN 2011 if WE DONT FOLLOW THE HIGHER PATH during this year that is a one last gift of God for us........to use.....or LOSE!
There is more at stake than you all, or at least many of you all know! I am happy to explain it to the point of such clarity and understanding that nobody here will have anything to argue over about, or at least NOT WITH ME!
I had an NDE....so to speak in 1996! And yes....I DO MUSHROOMS! PROUDLY! I do them with Jesus, the one who this world has no clue as to how cool HE really is!
I ONLY WANT YOU ALL TO KNOW TOO!
Or else I aint doing my best effort.....and therefor......I am a failure!
