Blue Oyster Mushroom

I haven't started this one, but I hope to soon. In RR's video, did he use Blue oyster mushrooms? Thanks for the quick reply guys, I think I've looked into how to do this long enough.
Just in case there is any confusion, my question is the following: In RR's video, did he use Blue oyster mushrooms, or some other oyster?
One more random question, not that important. But, can anyone vouch that Blue Oyster mushrooms (or whatever RR used) taste good? I've thought about growing lions main, I've heard those are quite good.
Thanks again guys!

im not sure what ones he used in the video but i think it was a clone from a wild one he found
as for the blue oysters i have grown them and if cooked right they are tasty mushrooms so are lions mane
but remember oysters need a ton of FAE

I think they are Blues, but all oysters are similar the way all cubensis are similar. And the color is due in part to lighting, so yours may not look like that.
People that like mushrooms say oysters are delicious. I haven't tried any yet.

So using a shotgun terrarium with pearlite and misting sometimes wont cut it :p they made it seem so easy in the vid. Can I even use PF tek with blue oysters? Thanks for the reply bro.
thanks Doc, makes me want them for sure now. I actually love the taste of mushroom, I hope Oysters will be satisfying. Once I get my procedure down and such, I think I'll go for something more sub-tropical.

Interesting, you guys are really pumping me up. Noob, you never tasted your pearl oysters? How much more different can Blue be? very interesting things you guys have em growing on. If I copy the PF tek video exactly, I'll be all right? Are Oysters easy to spore print so I can make my own syringe?
yeah those ones in your backround (noob) looked like what I had in mind for growing, awesome! Damn, I can't wait to fruit these. Have any of you grown Lions main? I want to try that after oysters, is it worth it?
thanks again for the info and help, I really appreciate it.

I tell people "shredded junk mail" when I talk about it, but I haven't literally tried that. Yet.

like having water hoses go through the pearlite with crazy fans and stuff. Nice thought about going to home depot to get the saw dust.

50 gal trash bag is a lot. Hmm...so do you think a shotgun terrarium with about 4" of perlite in room temp (70-75) is sufficient enough for Oysters to grow? Or do they need a little more then that?

FAE? now I feel like a dumbass, Fast air exchange?
NVM, Fresh Air exchange I knew that lol just couldn't think of it on the spot. So remove the lid to the terrarium occasionally or perma?

thats still up in the air im waiting on RR to answer that one
but i think you would be able to use it with the lid off as long as you mist to keep the humidity up
