ID request (Stuntzii Blue Ringers?)

Hi, this is my first post here. I'd appreciate a specific ID on these mushrooms I found.
I believe they are Stuntzii Blue Ringers, but I have read here and elsewhere that there is a wide variety of Stuntziis here in Washington State. I was sure enough they were active, and not the dreaded Galerina Autumnalis, so I started by ingesting just 4 small caps. No ill effects, so a week later I ate 10 and got a mild body high. Then last weekend I did 3 dried grams and had a great trip. I have read that Stuntziis are only moderately potent, so I was surprised at the visuals I experienced.
Anyway here's the info:
Location: North of Seattle, Washington.
Habitat: Found on new lawn in a business park. Some found at edge between the grass and some bark mulch, only a couple of clumps actually in the bark mulch.
Gills: Light brown, some attached, some not. Slightly visible thru cap at edge of cap.
Stem: Thin, an inch or slightly longer. Dark purple ring around stem a 1/4 inch or so below the cap.
Cap: About an inch diameter when opened flat. Flesh colored to chestnut brown on older ones. Cone shaped when young, older ones open and wavy. Moist and sticky on top.
Spore print was dark purple-brown.
After picking & washing them the edge of the caps looked greenish-blue, but the flesh never did bruise blue.
And here are the pics:
A spread out cluster:

A clump of them:

Some older ones:

A flat opened one:

A baby one:

A totally open one showing the dark purple ring:

Yes, I was sure they were stuntzii. I made sure I knew what the Galerina Autumnalis looked like before I considered eating them. I was also being cautious by ingesting a very small amount first. Along with the overall description of the stuntziis, the prominent blue ring on the stem and the spore print color were the deciding factor. I would never eat a mushroom I wasn't sure of.
I guess I was hoping for a positive ID on the sub species after reading this on this site:
There was a time when all Psilocybes in the PNW with a ring were considered P. stuntzii. Today P. stuntzii is considered more of a complex of closely related species and some annulated psilocybes have been determined to be other species entirely.

nice pics and nice find. macroscopicly no one is going to be able to tell a real difference as far as determing another species entirely.i have made a few cool ringer finds this year, when ever i get off my ass i will send them off. get them under a microscope.

You got that right. Sending out prints isn't one of you finest points.

My undestanding is that P.stuntzii is P.stuntzii. The different "variants" are simply the same mushroom manifesting different traits based on its substrate. i.e. P.stuntzii grown on wood look different than ones grown on grass, but are in fact the same species.

I've only heard the differences between the two variations. And I've heard exactly what you posted. They are the same species. I wonder how much work has been done with that though.

You know, if you look at my pic #4, the opened flat one I'm holding in my hand was growing in the grass where there were many that opened totally, like the one in the last picture. While at the same time, the group in the third picture were growing in quite hard ground that apparently didn't get seeded when they put in the new lawn. Though those in the hard ground didn't look as "fresh" as the totally opened ones, they remained cone-shaped and even kept a little inward curl on the edge of the cap. But they all had the tell-tale dark purple ring on the stem.
I'll have to go back and inspect the very few that were actually growing in the bark mulch.
Is it common for other species to look slightly different depending what they are growing on?

ya for sure.look at the variation in the looks of liberty caps. different types of grass or the thickness of it or the height of it all effect the apearance i think.
