go to a vet and say you were walking him through the woods and he started eating some mushrooms, which you were able to identify.

your gonna take him to the vet?!?! no it will make him have a bad trip!
just hang out with yer dog and make sure he is still happy, pet him and all that.
i wouldn't worry about toxins.
animals eat shrooms in the wild (usually by accident) and not die.

it's your fault the dog is tripping... its the least you can do.
vet probably won't do anything but try to calm him down, but its better to be safe than sorry

Id be more worried about the actual chocolate than the mushrooms.
I would say that chocolate has a higher likelihood of hurting the dog.
Goats eat mushrooms all the time and they are about dog sized.

It depends on the type of chocolate. A large dog could eat something like a pound of milk chocolate and be fine. On the other hand, the same dog could eat a quarter-sized chunk of baker's chocolate and be dead as a door nail.
I'm suspecting you probably used milk chocolate. Even 'dark chocolate' is weak on the cocoa scale.
I think Fido will be fine. Granted, I'm not a veterinarian, I just play one on the Shroomery.

two tiny melting chocolates will not kill a 90 lb dog, hed need like 1 lb of it. thats not an issue
