ive only ever had libs,tampanensis, mexicana n cubes, but aslong as i remember they didnt seem nearly as bad as libs lol

ive brewed them up in the past but i even hate that lol like i said total wimp, so i thought ill try eat them fresh this season but its disgusting so im gonna go back to the brew

I can sit and nibble them slowley like nuts.... beleive you me when you grind them slowley in your teeeth and break them down it hits you quick... you realy extract all of the good stufff... its definatly pshcological ( derrrr spelling) its only natural.... just be glad we are not meer-cats .. they munch on spiders and scorpians like chewy sweets lol and they love it.

I did however come across an abundance of these white mushies and after taking a stroll through the forest with my eyes peeled, I spotted these darker coloured shrooms sticking out from a tree-stomp.. the darker ones I'm more sure of being psilocybe and they have the nipple to go with - equally, the white ones have a sort of nipple too, but it's not so prominent.
I've left 2 of the more intact mushroom heads on some newspaper in my drawer so I can get spore prints for you fine fellows but that'll maybe take another day or so.
What do you think by first glance?
Sorry I can't take better quality photos - my digi cam is fked and these were taken with my LG Renoir.
They're a bit roughed up as you can see but it was very much a grab and stash right away before the police ask why I'm walking across muddy fields, on my own, at 8am, picking mushrooms.......

BTW, Let's call the white mushrooms, mushroom 1 and the darker ones, mushroom 2
None, but the top far left look anything like libs. And im pretty sure even thats not a lib. Look at the pictures posted on here. When dry - libs are creamy white, with a darkish base to the cap. And when wet they are light brown to darkish brown. Theres a slimy exterior to the base when wet, and theres a pronounced nipple.

Just stick to the ole wizard cap lib out in the pastures and you can't go far wrong. The worst you could prob get from accidently necking a few of the wrong sort of field mushroom is an upset stomach.
Cyans are prob the one other which are worth having, but these have the deadly Gallerina which look just like them to the untrained eye. I've never found any of these anyway and you will probably struggle in your Northerly location.
I'd say 25 libs for heightened colour perception and a bit of a glow, 50 for a half decent trip and 80+ for an intense experience.
For years I just did em by number. Just use your common sense, little diddlers aren't going to blow you away like massive ones.
Depending on the size of em of course, (big juicy black fuckers are obviously gonna do you in a bit more!) Id stick to about 30, see how you feel, then you can up the dose a little next time once you know what to expect.
Just make sure you are comfortable in your surroundings, with people you trust and not a lot of shit on your mind.
Actually small tiny libs are among the most potent shrooms weight for weight you'll ever encounter..
about 25 normal sized libs (or 1 gram) give me a 3+ everytime.
80+ libs make me want to die..

ahh thats pretty interesting, ive heard cubensis dont increase in potency after the veil has broken so does this also apply to libs?
sods law i was just about to go for a hunt and the heavens open

i can totaly get that,i started growing cubes last summer,and the differace between them and libs is a big one.
i would say 1 gram of dried libs gives me a more intense and visual trip than 4 grams of cubes.
the cubes are just to mild,the highest dose i took was 5 1/2 dried grams and seriously,nothing like the wee guys,it getts a bit intense on the comeup,then its just to mutch of an easy ride from then on in,libs keep me feeling giddy for hours,then i hit that beutifull afterglow feeling before the trip even ends,its like theirs no middle ground,lol,i was eating cubes for social events like watching the football.
for me a trip should always be intense enough that you have to give it respect,set and setting and all that,cubes are like,will i or wont i trip tonight,ahh feck it give me a handfull anyway.
maybe thers a tolerance issue with the cubes,cause my first couple of doses where nice and verry helpfull,but that didnt last long.

Well, sometimes, you're lucky with the mushrooms you consume, other times, they ain't that kick ass.
I had pretty mild trips on Libs, Cyans and even Copes and, on the other hand, had pretty strong trips on Cubes.
However, normally (and I speak only from my own experience), Cubes don't come close to any of the above mentioned species, in terms of trippyness.
In my experience, Libs -all in all- are "weaker" than Cyans, but from time to time you get some fruits, just just blast you through Hyperspace.
Since I don't eat Libs too often, but mostly do Cyans, I have to say, that the rough experiences I had with Cyans, were harder and more "intergalactic" than the strong experiences I had with Libs. Fresh Libs are just as "optical" as Cyans, but the body load, as well as the "mystic" factor ain't that strong. Older Libs, seem to be a lot weaker, than older Cyans, however.
I wouldn't go as far as Shponglecybin, saying 1 gram of Libs is more intense, than 4 grams of Cubes (at least not in my experience), but when we take a look at the potency measures and calculations and see, that 4 grams of Cubes definitely contain a higher amount of active alkaloids, than 1 gram of Libs do, the difference in the trip doesn't seem as big, as the difference in the amount of active alkaloids. Same with Cyans, Azures and Copes.
