bc of the light rain we got the other night, and the warm, humid air that followed, i decided to check my good spots. i found a lot of pan antill and one small cube.

i am betting that after our next good rain, the cubes will be popping bc of the humid air we've had lately, if it ever rains. this has been an abnormally dry fall for central florida.

Agreed. I can't wait until winter though. You get some awesome pans down here all winter near Tampa.

Good news Floridian shroomers, El Nino is going to be settling in this winter, keeping temperatures mild and moisture high. Hopefully this will increase what usually is slim pickings's in the winter time. If the current rain continues it may be a very weird Thanksgiving.

went out again tonight and only found a single, small pan cyan. on the other hand, i found my first false cube. it looked like a cube except for missing the orange nipple top and it had a solid stem.

There's indicators, that are more reliable that these. You didn't take any pics of it, did you?

me and couple friends hit up a new field the other day after a day and night of constant raining and overcast weather. we found 33 wet grams of Panaelous cyanescens, cool. it's not much, but definitely our biggest find yet. plus, were late in the season are we not?

If you're in central or southern Florida you'll be able to find Cubes beyond the next holiday season.
If it's a mild "winter" out there you could see them pop up scarcely afterwards.

Today I went out for the first time in months. I only walked for about 1/2 an hour. My buddy called them copes, but I've been told they were cyans. Is there a difference?I did notice some were real gold and some others were more white both bruised blue. I found these in Orlando area.Is this enough for me to trip? I have them in fridge for tomorrow night.
