Had a ridiculous lucid dream two nights ago.  I had a foursome.

i had to put once per year, because it only happens spontaneously and rarely these days.

i used to practice meditative and breathing exercises to induce dreaming. it took regular dedication and practice, so i didn't manage to keep up with it when my life would change dramatically.

So MisterMuscaria you think psychedelic drugs induce lucid dreaming?

I'm drinking Calea Zacatechichi tea before going to bed sometimes but it dont seem to help the vividness or the lucidity either.

I'm experimenting a lot with lucid dreams during the morning when my mom wakes me up, than goes to work and I put myself to sleep again. I became sort of lucid yesterday.

I've tried melatonin too, never got good results, I even got quite depressed and think it was the melatonin so I stopped taking it.

Melatonin never did much for me.

Ive been having amazing lucid dreams lately.
The only thing Ive been doing since I had these dreams that I didnt before was xanax. I think they effect my dreaming.

Calea did a little, melatonin did less. Spice gold, chewed salvia, amanita muscaria, dxm and xanax did the most to help with lucidity for me.

I'm unfortunately not gonna take xanax, DXM or smoke spice gold, even if it's for lucid dreaming.

I need to buy me some more Salvia though. You chew it before going to bed, or keep it in your mouth while sleeping?

and how do you use amanita?  :bliss:

I used to stick strictly to the naturals but I strayed oneday.

Chew the salvia, hold it in your lip for about 30-45 minutes not swallowing or spitting but just letting it absorb.
Spit it out. Lay down. Turn off lights. Close eyes. Immediately enter lucid dream.

Amanitas may be eaten either dry or cooked. Eat about half a dried ounce.

uhm... how much and how strong salvia do you chew? leaves or extracts? and are you sure you enter a state that can be called "lucid dreaming" and not a "tripping" state?

Also I've been told by an experienced man (he's been studying drugs all his life) that you need to smoke amanita to have oneirogenic (?) effects. And that eating it, you have only psychedelic effects (when you're awake). :justdontknow:

I chew about a gram or two of salvia leaf.

I believe what Ive experienced over what Ive heard. The first time I ate amanitas was the first time I was able to levitate in a dream.

I've entered a really weird stage of my life since my last post in this topic- 18 days ago.  I haven't been lucid dreaming, and I've even been having trouble remembering my dreams.

This is totally unlike me.  All my life, I've been a 'dream person'... well known in my circle of life to be the fellow that always talks about dreams and analyzes other people's dreams.  Kava didn't even help.

Lucid dreams, come back.

I wonder if the rate of lucid dream frequency and control is related to use of entheogens/hallucinogens.

I wonder if people who've never tripped lucid dream with the same frequency and abilities as those who've tripped alot.

I had dreams that I knew were a dream since I was little (about 7) but I wasnt able to completely control the outcome those dreams until after I first tripped(about 16).

I did better lucid dreaming before I ever tripped o anything then I do now .

After tripping I believe I have lost more control over my lucid dreams. I used to be able to say "oh its just a dream" and wake up if it went bad or crazy, but ever since I started tripping I have begun to think more along the lines of let it take you rather than fight it or bend it. My lucid dreams have become more interesting from this though, i've begun to have more lengthy dreams from this, which can sometimes spiral out of control. The most recent one I can remember is one in which I visit this building over and over again, except I always will see people I know, but its as if I am meeting them for the first time. The dream continues down numerous paths I cannot recall, but usually ends with me talking to one of my best friends at the end in which he tells me I am dreaming for some reason. Its almost as if my brain says ok its time to stop, which weirds me out. But I must admit I do enjoy the dreams.

All of my lucid dreams in the past have been in a situation when i was in danger and running for my life, heart pounding terror and everytime, whoever it was i was running from or avoiding, busted me. and i remember strong feelings of emberrassment for some odd reason. But in the dream i felt in total control but only had one thing to do and that is run so the only thing on my mind was "i can give up if i get caught and i will". and i do , i just end it as im rolling in a ball or something and i wake up.

But i don't think i wake up yet, like i go into a dreamless sleep or a dream i don't remember because i always wake up around normal time. (without alarm i hate those)

Just wanted to say that I'm now remembering some of my dreams even if I smoke at night before going to bed, it's probably happening after that I tripped pretty fuckin' hard on new years eve.

I was also flying tonight in quite a conscious/lucid way, but when I tried to actually focus on what I was doing, trying to see clearly around me, I felt as if I was gonna wake up.

I still blame the pot for the cloudiness to some extent.

I hate being lazy about writing what I remember when I wake up, because that is the fuckin key to it. I mean, when you start writing something, you begin remembering so much more. And when you remember a lot of your dreams you're almost done.

also I feel like pot is my worst enemy if it comes to lucid dream. (or be lucid in any way anytime)
