 New York man arrested for "liquid marijuana"

Do you guys think that this is probably a JWH? I am very curious to see if he is actually charged under some dubious interpretation of the analog act. Although I suppose there is the possibility that the substance in question was actually some sort of marijuana tincture or extraction.

Liquid Marijuana Seized in Brooklyn
In what the police called an unusual drug arrest, a Brooklyn man was charged on Wednesday with selling liquid marijuana.
“It has not been seen around here before,” said Capt. Gerard Dowling of the Manhattan South narcotics division, referring to a dark green mixture of alcohol and marijuana.
The police said they seized eight Mason jars of the substance on Wednesday from the home of the man, Anthony Briordy, 32. They said they also seized cocaine and prescription painkillers, including OxyContin.
An undercover officer began purchasing the liquid and other drugs from Mr. Briordy about two months ago, the police said. Mr. Briordy was said to have told the officer that the liquid was often mixed with fruit punch.
The police said that throughout the investigation, Mr. Briordy told the officer that he made the mixture at home and that a four-ounce dose of it was stronger than one marijuana cigarette.
The liquid was classified as a controlled substance, the police said, after laboratory tests determined that it was an extremely potent form of marijuana.

Interesting, I didn't know that such a thing existed, although I have heard about medi-weed places in LA selling weed drinks.

YA MON!
basically take a bottle of everclear, add stems, buds, kief, what ever herb you have laying around. let it sit for a month or longer. strain and add to 7up.
for our tincture, we added a ten strip of L along with about 8g of kief and an ounce of primo bud. one shot of this stuff put you on your ass for the rest of the night. needless to say, it was hard to stop with only one shot. those that puked got an experience but those strong enough to keep it down were sent to the moon

If you want to make it faster than a month (like in an hour), you grind up your bud and spread it across a baking sheet. Put it into a 325 degree oven for about 5 minutes (or until it turns bronze and starts to smoke). Use a thermometer in your oven to make sure it's no higher than 325. You don't want to destroy your bud in the oven! This step is supposedly to 'activate' the THC in the bud.
Then you get everclear - other liquors will work, I'm told, but the higher the proof the better. Everclear is like 90% alcohol by volume. You mix the oven-activated bud with the everclear. I use about .5 grams per ounce of alcohol. How much you use depends on how good your weed is. So I usually make it by the quart and I put a little over half an ounce in. Anyways, you heat up a pot of water to between 165 and 170 F. Use a thermometer! Alcohol starts to vaporize at like 175 F, so you want to get the temp really close to that (to optimize THC extraction) without hitting that temp and vaporizing your alcohol. You put the alcohol/weed mixture in a container (like a canning jar) and then put that into the hot water - so a double broiler. Then you sit and watch it for 30 minutes making sure the temperature stays in the right range and that the alcohol doesn't catch fire and burn you house down.
After 30 minutes, you dump the mixture into a different container through a piece of cheese cloth to strain out the plant matter. You'll be left with a very green liquid. Usually 1 ounce of the stuff I make lays me out. Mix it with sprite, simple syrup and a lime wedge for a very refreshing drink. It also works well for taking it into places that it's tough to just blaze up. You can inconspicuously get stoned off of your ass pretty much anywhere.
Be sure to store it out of the light. And when you make it, your house is going to smell absolutely incriminating, so do it when nobody is around and light a shitload of incense (or use air fresheners).

Well that doesn't necessarily mean anything. How do you think gasoline is made?

At any rate, it's always worked for me. I made the dragon about 4 times and the finished product always kicks ass. You're welcome to try it without preheating the bud. If you do, let us know how it works out.
