I'm Creating a World Wide Locations thread for P.Semilanceata (AKA Libs or Semi's)
I've seen information outlining certain areas but I would like to develop a more detailed map... please only document areas which you have picked and if possible detail the range within an area!
For example... I am in Nova Scotia (Province), Canada (Country), I've picked across an area known as the "Eastern Shore" (Ranging from Halifax to Guysborough County) I've also picked libs in the provinces of Prince Edward Island (PEI) and New Brunswick (NB)... as for the exact locations I picked there I am unsure!...I'm pretty positive that Libs grow in most of NS but where I have only picked the eastern shore that's all I've documented.. anyone whose picked elsewhere is encouraged to add it!
If anyone has comments or concerns please feel free to PM me... As always any help is welcomed and feedback is greatly appreciated!

- Locations in GREEN are areas I was given that could use reference locations!

Liberty Nation
The Liberty Nation is a network of Shroomery members who have hunted P.Semilanceata in Various Locations.
It shows the range of areas “we” encompass and is NOT meant to be, a re-write of where they grow, or a “spot” map!
General regions, where you have hunted “Libs”, are all that we require.
An area of a region or "county" is plenty specific but if you would prefer to be vaguer, it’s completely up to you.
I will not post any information you do not want posted.

if your looking for anything more specific then that im pretty sure your breaking the rules.
"7. No requesting or revealing specific locations.
Locations NOT allowed: Business names, government buildings, shopping centers, pasturelands, when specific directions are given to a location, or any place with an address. Use common sense about what might be considered a specific location. When in doubt, do the moderators a favor and just don't say it."

I would prefer not to get specific... A region where you've picked is sufficient!.... The purpose is to network Lib hunters throughout the world an get a more detailed map of where libs occur

yeah... like I said... It's not about your spots... It's about location... and yes the "what mushrooms grow wild in my area" is okay... there are numerous areas not mentioned there... also there are provinces here where only lower portions have libs (Ex: more northern areas of the province are too cold!) I'm looking to have more detailed info on the areas as well as highlight areas which may not be mentioned there!

Well not a lot of feedback yet but hopefully people are at least spreading the word!... It's kind of early to post a worldwide map but here's my Canada/America Map thus far... Red are areas they don't grow! (I haven't colored most spots as I want to be positive and not make assumptions) Pink are areas not yet commented on and the "Light Blue" are the known Lib locations documented in this thread so far... Please contribute, any info is appreciated, even if it's presumed a known fact!

Yeah Georgia's definitely not confirmed... I have to review my posts but there was a "user" who was showing me his picks this season... pretty sure he was from Georgia... unless he traveled to pick, which is also possible!.... I spoke with some one in Atlanta, Georgia years ago though and they also were familiar with picking Libs!... anyway as I said... anyone whose picked Libs is encouraged to contribute... whether it's where you've found them... or where you know they "definitely" aren't lol thanks for any feedback, it's appreciated!

my pickings are in south east northumberland, england, but i think its safe to say they grow all over the uk

Thanks for the contribution Libs!... and for the feedback Jimtown!... Whether or not I find new info isn't necessarily the goal... (although I do believe there are areas along the east coast in the US that aren't well documented here) These are confirmed areas of Shroomery, Lib hunters who contribute... They help better show the range we cover... none the less i appreciate you responding, thank you!... so now....

I know they are common... and I know there are locations available... like I said, It's more to show where "we" cover, not so much to rehash where they are said to grow, If you pick a certain area like a county etc. then please document it.... I'm off to work though... Keep posting people... I appreciate the help!

i think u can add the alps, germany, france, scandinavia, russia, the andes (peru, chili), eastern europe such as latvia etc
ive seen posts from most of these countries on these forums over the years
