maybe, if its a vr6. that avenger was fast enough to beat early model mustang GT's and a few 5.0's

the slowest gt's run mid low 15's stock... 2000 grand am gt runs a 15.9 1/4 mile stock. but the POS 93 gt auto ran a 16.1. the gts were ezto take but the 5.0 runs a high 14 stock. what city you live in? cause my car never left the dallas area.

Dude i was just joking but 90% of the race is human intervention, and if your running a Mustang GT with manual shift and can't drive it I'm gonna smoke you every time in an automatic the only thing I had not stock was cold air induction...

ahh but being able to work that manny will bring the shitiest cars to life 
my caprice (interceptor) was mid 13's stock.. then intake, header, hypertech and exhaust.. and 4:10 rear gears made it street king (in my area).. you could goose the gas and get the front end to hop up  .. then sadly i sold it.. but happily I bought another one... then sadly I blew the engine. I now have 1.5 liters of absolute fury

well heres mine.still a shitty phone camera.sorry.
 
heres some of some spots on some jars from the bunch.
 
and i had some that took off but all got some little red contam. so i lost 6.but i still got 27 left.
heres a pic of one that got contamed.its the biggest growth from all.

i was thinking about doing that, i kindascrewed up cause i had like 3 caps like that. but i thru out the other 2... and those caproce had some HUDGE ass motors...

As far as the caprice.. it was an LT1 350, roller rockers, etc.,... over 300 ponies from the factory. The interceptor added a HD radiator and hoses, added a trans cooler, HD front and rear sways and a posi rear. Simply the best platform to start from. It can take a 150 shot of NOS without a build or flinching, hell even the ZEX "safe" system is a 150 shot for that thing. I wanted the LT4 conversion kit, just two heads and an intake, +400 horses.. I am so going to buy another one some day

As much as I am a fan of a certain American brand (not proclaiming it now) .. I have to say.. I would take the new Camaro, Mustang, or Charger in a heart beat..
