i do not fear the UN, but i just think it is crazy that there is a religious organization saying that they want a world government with the UN at the top. it is so weird to hear it.
i think we will know truth within the next 10 years of our lives... i honestly think people are done falling for the bullshit and are starting to do the research and gather the evidence. the truth is coming out.
I think it's funny how you completely ignore posts criticizing your ideas rather than refute them, but have no problem jumping right into the circle jerk when your ideas are massaged.
Redstorm, what did I miss? what do i need to respond to?
if it is regarding UN ties to Share-International, i guess i just see all these articles by SI talking about the UN and helping to bring in one world government and one world religion... it seems like ties, but perhaps SI is just full of shit and the UN is not linked to it at all? either way, i am just sharing the information because i found it interesting.

no need to get mad dude, i just wanted to get peoples' opinions on these things, that is all.

i like the way people on the internet reveal century old plots and find a breadcrumb trail of evidence everywhere they decide to google. then they pat themselves on the back because they feel like they are important this way.

states just cause conflict and insecurity for everyone. wouldn't an international realm without anarchy be ideal?

i think sovereign countries collaborating is the best way to go if you ask me...
a one world government is too much power concentrated in one place... if it ever got corrupted, or if it was corrupt from the beginning, there would be no rival nation powerful enough to resist the corruption. it would control our lives...
this is why i do not believe in a centralized one world government. i believe that the countries of the world should collaborate in the United Nations, but i do not think there should be one centralized world government or bank, etc. one global currency, sure, but not one world bank or one world government. just my 2 cents.

Unfortunately, the United Nations is the embodiment of the corruption that you are concerned about.

The UN Security Council is run by the controlling interests of the 5 permanent members (including the U.S.). However the General Assembly, the Economic and Social Council and many of the other organs are controlled by the developing nations. I'm sorry but people who think the UN has some sort of malicious power in the world are sadly mistaken. They are trying to feed and house the worlds refugees with a limited budget. They are trying to help developing nations develop while the developed countries try and prevent it. I spent a semester in the UN, I saw how it functions from the inside. It would be a GOOD thing for our world if the UN has more power. U.S. unilateralism (such as in the case of Iraq and Afghanistan) is what needs to be feared. The world needs dialog, not predator drones.
