Long periods of time without having sex don't really bother me.  Prior to this girl i'm seeing now, i hadn't slept with anyone in the better part of a year.  Busy with work & school -- just get high with friends on my downtime.  No opportunities to meet new tail.

Last time was about a month ago with my last girlfriend.  I thought we had something really special going but she totally blew it, the details of which I'd rather not get into...I'm totally over it, though.

I don't go hunting for sex like I used to.  A number of years ago I decided I wanted something deeper, more of a genuine emotional connection.  I find sex is SOOO much better when I connect with a woman like that.  So when I'm looking, sex isn't at the top of my priority list, but once we get into it, sex is VERY important.  I've found sex comes more naturally & consistently when we share a deep connection like that. :smile:

Im actually the one withholding. Im not in love with her anymore and it just dosen't feel right to be that intimate with her if i don't feel it. This is after a four year relationship, its pretty hard, its the first time ive broken up with a girl and im finding it difficult.

A big part of sex is novelty. Basically we start to get bored. But i do think its possible to find that special person who just drives you crazy and it doesn't fade with time. I really should. But she has all these problems and i feel really sorry for her. Ive been basically caring for her physically and mentally for four years now. I almost feel like a parent. But at the same time i know its not doing either of us any good. So ive given myself till my birthday, which is one month to do it. Then ill be free again which will awesome.

Thank Nicolita. Its probably one of the hardest things ive had to do so far. But i guess things will work out in the end and ive learned a lot of things from it which will make my next relationships better.

Thanks meams, it's for the best because she was a horrible person to boot but I will post about how my sex life stopped after marriage, soon.

I used to read those words to you every night, over and over.  For a while it was your favorite book.  Then you didn’t want me to read, you wanted to play with the books, run your finger over the pictures and the markings like Daddy does.  But with Pajama Time, you would tap your finger on the pages–the same way that Daddy taps out the rhythm of the rhyme when he reads the story song to you.  You know this book is different.

I’ve cried at books before too.  One of the most important books when I was growing up was But We Are Not of Earth.  It’s just a little young adult sci-fi novel about some kids who grew up in outer space.  But I fell in love with them when I read it.  Well, mostly I fell in love with the protagonist, and I related to the guy that was becoming her boyfriend.  She was amazing.  She led these three kids in stealing a spaceship driven by brain waves and taking it to a new planet where they could live like their ancestors did on Earth.  I think.  It’s been a long time.  I think I read it during the summer between my 6th and 7th grade years.

When I came to the last chapter, I got really sad.  I decided that I didn’t want to read it.  And then I decided to start the whole book all over again.  I eventually finished it, laying in the back seat of my parents’ VW Rabbit parked in the gravel behind the shoe repair shop in Heber Springs, Arkansas, on a sunny summer afternoon.  And then I cried again because it was really over.

Is that what you were feeling with Pajama Time?  Did you realized that those little animals dancing around in their PJs were your friends and that you hadn’t seen them in a long time?  I know; it’s hard.  Friends are important–even when they come from a book.

You’ll see these friends again.  And you’ll find other friends, too.  And you’ll make up friends of your own.  You have the imagination to do it already.
