i doubt he joined the army as a sleeper cell. Maybe after years of war with the middle east he finally snapped. That seems the more logical chose then he joined the army 15 years ago as a sleeper cell

I read he was a Walter Reed psychiatrist who spent most of his time counseling returning soldiers w/ PTSD.
counseling people w/ mental disorders, some w/ blown off limbs and phantom pains... all day? and they all just recently got back
from the place the military was about to send you?
I do not condone his actions but its something to consider. You hear all day about the worst place
on the planet and then you are forced to go there.... would freak me out as well, despite having an advanced degree in mind fuckery.
that is some bitter irony.
