i found a dozen yesterday but things have really slowed down... i'm not complaining though because in one and a half months one 5 acre field has produced a little over 400 grams dry weight...  just another reason that i love my horses...  :cool:

I found a 1/4 LB of copes just now, weeeww
    there hasent been anything here in a month then out of the blue they grow.
        they kinda resemble popcorn

Anyone near midwest florida (Ocala, Belleview, Silver Springs, Dunnellon) that seen any?  My friend lives out near North Marion and says they are growing there.

I'm in the south florida area (fort lauderdale area) I'm new to mushroom gathering, can anyone help me out? is it good season now for around these parts? anyone have any areas they could let me in on? I'd appreciate any help, thanks :smile:

Over here in CFL haven't been finding much. A dozen or so here and there. But a wicked awesome summer. No hurricanes to flood the fields so that was cool. PEACE until next summer. "Waiting for the summer rains" -The Doors
