I posted these in the PNW Actives thread already but figured they are worthy of their own thread. 

These are the beauties my wife and I came across today (in the South Sound)... We were both VERY excited to say the least...

absolutly pinnacle man! i was out today looking for cyans ,i havent found any all year.:sad my old patches are gone now or not accesible. i really like the shot of the road, it really gives me inspiration.i am in the land of field shrooms but damb i want some urban dwellers!

I have shrooms for the winter.. and the summer!  Definatley going back for the pins. There's a lot more than shown in the pics.. I got nervous when my bags started filling up and took off  :uhoh:

I know cyans grow in wood chips and such but found a pic on the net somewhere and just wondered if anyone else had seen it?  as i have never seen them growing like this before:

Those are not Psilocybe cyanescens. I can see an annulus on some of the specimen. Probably Galerina marginata or something.

Wow, those shots remind me of the pictures posted by @cro a few years back of the Seattle motherload..  I think I would be overwhelmed with a patch like that.. I wouldn't know where to begin lol

The pictures I posted are definatley of the largest Cyan patch I've ever found.. thus far... I know of at least 3 other places that are exploding with pins right now and I would like to post pics of them in this thread after I get the camera out there. 

There's a ton of Cyanescens growing this year. It doesn't take much luck to find them, just a little persistence!

Mark my word, by the end of this season i will have a picture of my patch that is much bigger then that. its RIDICULOUSLY GIANT, I'm working on following the mowing schedule that's going on there, and i figure by the time i do, it'll be a patch of at least 5000 or more cyan's. not joking ether. no one else knows about it. Ive been picking there for over 3 years and have never seen a single soul looking for/at mushrooms there. its a cyan/blue ringer oasis. give me a week, this rain should help me out a lot. you'll all see!

The Cyans are VERY potent.  My wife ate 13 partially dried (still a little water inside) mushies last night and had a borderline level 5 experience.  They are so STROOONG. :slomo:

I indeed came across it, and took me about 10 minutes to just enjoy the look of it.

However, I've found patches MUCH bigger than this one, BUT they couldn't be photographed that way, because they were traversed by bushes etc.

I try to find the time to post a bunch of pics of the biggest patch I've found so far. The pics are from 2008, but anyway.

Keep your eyes open for THIS thread (it's the one the pictures from above came from) to be updated with the pics, if you're interested in it.

Anyway, NOW, I stop taking over Sacred_Mushroom's thread... Sorry, anyway:rolleyes:

ok so im going out on weds to this giant patch of mine. i will take a video of it(thanks alan!) so you can get a good idea of how massive it is.
