For the past few months most of my dreams have been in black and white... and I usually don't like it. Does anyone else dream in black and white and never in color?

I'm colorblind, and even I usually dream in color!

I used to always dream in color, but as I get older I seem to dream in black and white more often.
Wine is in my dreams quite frequently also... mm, I wish I had a glass right now!

Had a strange lucid dream the night before last.

I was backstage somewhere, like 50 feet up on some catwalk. I was supposed to jump down, or climb, but was terrified. I began to realize I was dreaming, and told myself to just jump.

I began to, but still got terrified. I told myself "Tim, you are dreaming. Just jump. You did it before in that other dream". I thought that I would end up jumping off of my bed while asleep or something. I ended up waking up shortly after, but with the memory of that other dream from another day.

I remember being lucid in some other dream, and convincing myself to leap from large cliff face, and floating down to the bottom. It was the first time that I remembered a previosly unremembered dream, while dreaming.

Can you guys ever tell yourself to wake up from a dream?
I try sometimes and it's so difficult, but it works.

I've "forced" myself to wake up from dreams on several occasions, but sometimes instead of waking up, I "wake up" into another dream that I don't know is actually still a dream.  Weird shat.

Life is pretty awesome if you convince yourself you're always dreaming.

If you tell yourself NOT to wake up, then you are on the path to learning how to lucid dream. They have cool but expensive dream masks that can train you to stay asleep through those lucid moments.

The mask detects REM sleep and flashes lights and beeps at you once you reach that state. At first you awaken, but once you get used to it the flashes and beeps signal you that you are dreaming but you are able to stay asleep.

I want one so fucking bad. I am already learning to stay asleep through the lucid moments on my own though, slowly but surely.

I'm actually a little surprised that lucid dreaming isn't illegal yet.

Ive found that smoking spice blends before bed somehow helped me to keep from waking during those parts.

I hate when people say "Glad to know people still like good music" Why be so closed-minded.

Any music that lets you escape or makes you feel good is good music.

Any music that repsents the art is music.

Don't cause discrimantion in the arts thats one of the few good things humanity has to offer.

(Some very smart man which name i doesnt remember)

Wow. I had a dream last night that I realized I was omnipotent and all-knowing.  I used this to create a hypothetical situation where I lived in prison and controlled everything because I knew everything everybody was going to say and how to best survive.  The weird thing is that I do not remember realizing that it was a dream.

Great poll!

I've noticed lucid dreaming usually occurs to me when I haven't smoked pot for a couple days or when I'm really stressed. I wonder why laying off the grass results in this?

I stopped lucid dreaming when I quit smoking pot and I started when I started smoking pot again.

Weird. I have always heard the opposite from anyone I have ever talked to about dreams and pot. At least vividness, if not full lucidity.

Very interesting.
