Yea do that please. And yes Id sign up right away if they started the acid tests again.
Ken Kesey was a subject in government sponsored studies of LSD and mescaline for those of you who don't know of him.
But yea hopefully this show opens peoples mind about LSD.
It's only 8:13 here so I'm still waiting to watch it. It's supposed to come on at 10:00

twisted. there is no way that couple was so tweaked on meth their first time doing it that they were hallucinating that nonsense.

Yea I think most of it is meth scare tactics. Not saying that meth is child's play, but some of the stories seem false.

I might agree it was scare tactics....
Besides the fact that they had the police calls..... And they are dead now. Mom didnt seem too worried about scaring anyone either....
I do wonder if they were on more than just meth..... Then again..... total noobs on a meth binge.......
I used to live in Omaha, Thought that was pretty cool.

yep. they sound like they've been on a 4 day binge in those messages. maybe it was their first 4 day binge, but no way they had just done a little like they insinuate.

Yeah, They didnt outright say "they only smoked one hit...."
But, your right, it did seem implied.
Meh, gotta protect the "good country girl" and "popular outgoing guy" from having a bad rep once they are dead.
I mean, whats mom going to say "Yeah, I knew she was experimenting with drugs, But, I didnt think it would come to this."
Mom is probably already dealing with guilt issues , than to have to say that on TV....
Either way, Meth is a sh1t drug. Kids. Dont try it. Stick with the acid and weed.

I have 1 more hour until the LSD Episode.
It's funny how they show the guy making meth and they say "We are going to leave out a few crucial ingrediants so that nobody tries it at home."
I don't think they know what Google can do. Thats how I found out how to grow shrooms.

I've seen the marijuana episode and I like how they ended it.
They ended with asking something along the lines of "If someone dropped seeds in your hand and told you that the plant can make clothing, heal the sick, or even intoxicate, would you just throw them away?"
I thought that was pretty cool. I hope they open up about LSD the same way. If things such as LSD, DMT, mushrooms, mescaline, and marijuana were made accessible to the public then we might have more spiritual people around today.

Also DVRing it.
They just gave some rats 160mcg. every other day for a long time, that's a lof of LSD for a little rat. I feel bad for them though, IDK it's necessary research and better to be done on rats then people, well IDK, lol.
I very much dislike this attitude.
Not only are we as humans content in declaring species-centrism to the extent that we declare animals property and abuse them in horrible ways physically and emotionally, but even experienced users of psychedelics are comfortable with denying non-humans cognitive liberty.
NO being should have its consciousness altered beyond its own desire. Remember when you went to hell for 8 hours because you needed to learn? Imagine someone doing that to you every day because they feel themselves justified to do so.
It's just wrong. I believe in self-determination. There is a serious argument for denying animals self-determination (they don't abide by social rules and would murder, steal and tresspass regularly) but there is simply no excuse for dosing beings because you "need to see what'll happen".
Be your own guinea pig, seriously. We already know that there are serious problems in transposing/extrapolating results gained from experiments with one species to another. Given the subjectivity of psychedelics it'd only stand to reason that such a venture is even less likely to actually be helpful.
I am horribly sorry for bringing this up in this thread. I know it doesn't quite belong here but this issue irks me and I felt the need to speak my mind.
I saw the special. It was okay.
