Looks like I am going to be a FELON.
Got into trouble when I decided to try heroin in the parking lot one night(dumb as shit) and the officer hit me with a shit ton of charges hoping that one will stick.
Sucks too because the lawyer that was appointed to me since I couldn't afford a lawyer to hire privately doesn't care that I only have a year & 1/2 left of school to obtain my Business Management degree. I guess college is out the window.
WHO wants to buy some drugs?

First time drug offense.....no. I got caught w/ a roach 6 years ago.
He charged me w/:
felony possession heroin
felony manufacturing w/ BC powder(absolutely fucking ridiculous)
felony paraphanalia
and then when a buddy of mine got a DUI last year he had an ounce of shrooms in his car and charged me and him w/:
felony possession of shrooms
felony distribution
Aren't I lucky? They just want to charge me w/ the felony possession of Heroin which was 1/20th and they will throw out the rest.......What the fuck!
I wish I had the money to hire an attorney. I would sell drugs to pay for a private one, but I think I learned my lesson.

I have been on this ladies ass for awhile and she will NOT see it my way and says the DA will not either. I called and left a message with the NC BAR so hopefully they will call back.
She has neglected me ever since she has been assigned to this case. It has me bummed out because I know a private attorney could get this dropped down to a misdemeanor, but I don't have the cash.
Sucks that the lawyer isn't explaining my situation of college and I will be punted like a goddamn football.

the court appointed attorney's are usually in the pocket of the DA anyway, so they are only going to do what they can to get you in and out of their face. they don't care to hear your side, they only want you to get out of their ears

Well I am at the bottom of the barrel on this one.
I ended up losing everything after this charge. I went from a mid 700 credit beacon to only god knows. Loan is out of the question and jobs are too since this shows up on background checks.

Have you talked to any lawyers yet?
Go make an appointment with a lawyer in the area you are being tried in. Many are willing to take extended payments. Its worth it!

Getting a loan requires credit for which I no longer have any good score.
I have tried a lot of different things from selling my cars to selling my jewelry and tvs.....no one wants to buy shit.
My parents' business is seriously crippled so they can't help me out and medical bills/stock market has killed my grandpa in finances. I'm fucked!
Hopefully I can ruffle some feathers within the NC BAR association and get someone to make that bitch lawyer treat me fair.

Have you called lawyers? Call them, call alot of them. They will find a way to help you now and make you pay later.
Do this tomorrow, spend a few hours calling dozens of them in your town. This will be well worth your time and money.

I will call a few tomorrow and ask the Director of Advisors at school to see if she knows anyone that can help me out.
This shit has been plaguing me since April and this bitch of an attorney rarely ever talks to me and when I raise a stink she bitches me out. Everyone says she is good, but is a bitch. Pretty evident that she is a bitch, but not good.
I have put forth more effort than her and she just doesn't seem to care, which she stated plenty of times.

I contacted a few lawyers and they have told me that they will not do extended plans.
I'll try to contact some more people, but it looks bleak. Damn I need a joint right now to concentrate.

No luck w/ attorneys. My attorney out of the blue today @12 told me to come to Supreme court tomorrow. Doesn't know if she is going to expose of it or continue the case. Hopefully it gets continued. If not, I will appeal the matter since I haven't had time to really get my letters from professors and the director of advisors.
