Friend chowed em down about 1130 .Got a txt about 1250 , saying he was getting off and feeling good with nice visuals. Will get the full report tomorrow

So its from  section Stuntzae , possibly  ovoideocystidiata. Not caerulipes . Here's a few more pix

From what they grow in the habitat of your area and the blue ring present that's just where I put my guess

I would love to find out I am wrong but I don't agree they are Ovoids

I agree with you about the ovoids, they don't look like the pictures Ive seen. Iam also really new to this and there for actually have no clue! Ive just seen these a million times over last few months and noticed the blue ring. After picking up them probably 20x i finally took a picture and posted here.

They are definitely active I can see blue bruising in the caps of one of your pics. Nice find regardless what they are. One thing for sure is  :wowz: very interesting
