So just a random question for your hawaiian climate there...

How long has it been since you put those bad boys outside?  And do you water those guys regularly or do you just let the jungle give them their love?

ha ha

Thanks bro they look great

hey ill be back with AWESOME PICS soon

ive had to water them. i put them outside when the weather was PERFECT, but its been sunny and windy, so theyve got choke moisture in the sub, but not enough on their heads...

its crazy. the two sub blocks i put out, did well

but the PE patches that are spawned are doing amazing.

its one thing to throw sub outside and watch it fruit, but these PE patches are really suprising me.

i forgot all about a patch, and stumbled upon it the other day

note: IMO, if you have the right climate, start spawning outdoors!!!

yeaaaah man, they are happy!!!

BIIIIIG SMILES

my computer freaks when i try to upload, so once in a while i get lucky and it allows it...

ill keep trying

ON A MORE IMPORTANT NOTE!:

the PE spawned patches are colonizing soils/composts that werent even part of the substrate/spawn

went out to check how the remaining PE patch, and notices 2 boomers(aside from the ones on the patch, one HUGE PE toppled over about 4" outside the patch, and another smaller fruit coming up about 5" to the other side...

this area is covered by guava decay and stays pretty wet...

strange indeeeeeed...

think that this patch is pau flush now.

Gulf Coast Patch(look closely, the burmese are invading the gulf)

definately not some lil guys

mmmmmmmmmmmm all cleaned up, ready for compost

Burma Patch 1(forgive the picture quality, im not a fan of flash, and it was early am)

you can barely make out the sallyd clone in the background

Burma Patch 2

tight little clusters, no size, denser, incredibly fast growth

PE - Spawned Patch 1

these ones speak for themselves :mushroom2:

Omg, makes me so jealous.

I just tried making an outdoor patch, and it was devoured by rats within a day, dug all the sub up and gobbled and spread it around, hopefully a little bit remains in the sub for when all dem ratties are dead.

give them something better to eat

i was at war with everything alive at a different patch

there are so many fruit trees etc. around here the rats stay fat

watch for chikens, slugs, ants, and...rodents

Looks like i have all of those problems in one location, in future ill spawn patches in a less populated section of my jungle. I would have thought the rats would have been happy eating my jungle chicken food and my extensive vegetable garden, Unforch not.

I feel bad about doing it, but im considering poisoning the swine, theyre also bad for native species ground dwelling bird species, so its not all evil and selfish of me to take thier little ratty lives.
