here in central FL, we have the temps but not the moisture. the weather is predicted to change in our favor for the next 4-5 days. they are calling for high chances of rain with high 80s and low 70s at night. good stuff!!
i am checking the tub tonight to see if the day heating might have sparked some growth.

venturing out earlier, i actually found some cubes. they are small, totaling 14 grams wet. now that its rained, i am excited to get out tomorrow night.
there are actually 5 small cubes in this pic
this one weighed 10 grams wet

i went out tonight and discovered that my main field for shrooms was completely mowed down by the farmer! needless to say, i found nothing except some patties with a visible mycelium; so i brought them home. blah.

hey guys this is the first day of having a shoomery account but i have done shrooms since i was 12 (im 18 now) my current boyfriend has held me back from tripping for the past 2 years (damn him) and thats over now now im gonna eat them when ever i find them my question is since its october and i usually never find them in large amounts or large sizes, since fall is starting late and its still hot is season still on? (i live in hendry county) and how has the pickins been for the last month?

oh hahaha i know i thought about that im kinda high so i had delayed thinking and also haw were the shooms this year i only got to trip 1 this year ad last b cuz of my man but im ignoring his protest. i only stayed with him in the begining cu he said he didnt care but anyways how were the little mushies this year

okay, i sought out my only good field and a special location (next to a body of water, under dense trees) beside my field, and found NOTHING (except for some inactive pans and other inactive mushrooms). we have the heat and humidity, but not the freakin rain we need. i am taking a break until the next day/night of good heavy, soaking rain. good fortune to all the other hunters/shroomers!

thanks goldennic... there's been enough rain here to keep the cubes going in the horse pasture... i got one more from the fish tank and it looks pretty grim right now... hopefully i will have a few pics tomorrow evening... i saw a couple of buttons beside a sphinctrinus that might make a nice pic if they pop...
