Me and my friends are desperate. Tomorrow morning were gonna go forest hoping picking everything we find and spore printing to make sure they're safe later. What do you all think, should we stick to fields?

i would. as far as i know, most of the actives that are natural in florida are dung-loving species....i think. i know theres a couple actives that arent, but idk what they are, or where they can be found in florida.
somebody correct me if im wrong?
pans cyans are very prevolent in my field right now, and i found a few cubes, but not nearly as much as a couple of month

my fields are FULL of panaelous antillarums.
So much so that I don't even bother to look at the tall white ones - am I maybe overlooking some cyans?
How can I tell the difference without looking for blue on every single one?

you have just keep looking. once you've seen and held enough of the active Pans you'll develop an eye for them.
the active ones are almost always more hidden than Pan Antillarum, they'll have tiny of brown/tan on the cap usually, they'll bruise blue/black, and they feel more delicate than the more sturdy inactive Pans that grow here.

I forgot to take my camera out once again! I did, however, find 180 grams of fresh cubes and 30 grams of pan cyans. The biggest cube I found was about 4 inchs tall and VERY, VERY meaty. Ended up weighing 30 grams alone.
Season will continue to bring good harvest as long as the weather permits.

last night i found 13 grams of cubes, in the windy cold air. i dont expect to find anymore until we get a good warm rain and warmer air, though i am always hoping to be defied. i have yet to find any cyans. as usual, you are killing it reefa! kudos to all those who are still finding high yields!

last night was down in the high 30's low 40's... i saw 30 some cubes but all were small and left doing their job of dropping spores... supposed to warm back up after tomorrow.. i guess i should be keeping a log of temps /rainfall etc...

after finding 13 grams of cubes last night, i went out for 30 min again today in an adjacent field and found one cube weighing 9 grams. it was tucked deep down in some tall grass. i probably wouldn't have seen it at night.

hey floridians, just got to spring hill today, all the way from god damn connecticut! im excited to start my searches. only found a few cincts in CT, not even enough to dose. now my question is, i have a fuild litterly twenty feet from my lawn, but its strangly placed in a neighborhood, and surrounded by a fence; are all the fields you guys hunt in surrounded by a fence? if so how do you go about getting in and out and what time of the day?

also do you folks suppose it would be a fine idea to ask the farmer that owns the field if i can buy some manure and bring it to the woods, cover it with some leaves or something and water it well?

man of course the fields are surrounded by a fence lol. cattle fences aren't really that hard to overcome. put your hand on one of the posts and walk up like the barbed wire like a ladder. use the post to help balance and you'll be fine.
i always go at night but i'm not finding anything. going in the day would be ideal but i don't think the farmers would appreciate that.
i picked some patties and brought them to a forest near my home and have yet to see anything sprout out.
instead of "asking" for some manure... just grab some from the fields

you can sometimes see mycellium poking out of the pattie on the bottom if you look good enough.
an easier way would go to a field, and the patties you find mushrooms on, take them home. haha.
