i don't have any other info on this mushroom other then some pics i found via enternet, this is by far the most strange mushroom i have ever seen! good luck IDing this one for all you trusted identifiers, any info on this would be nice! thanks fellow shroomers

The coolest thing about stinkhorns is you can collect those "eggs" and replant them, check this out:

yea dude those things are weird mann.. my little town would freak out if i planted those at the cemetery a few blocks away haha..
so those things grow from like little egg like pods or something and not spores? that's crazy.. fungus are pretty fascinating aren't they?

that thing gave me the hee bee jee bees I've never seen a mushroom like that. I wonder if it could be cultivated, the substrate would be like 50% mulch 50% human soul.
If it was upside down and the black stuff was in the ground it'd look like a normal mushroom haha.
