So, any thoughts? I can narrow down to amanitas, but there were several everywhere I went, but orange and or pale yellow, maybe Amanita var amaricana? I have no Idea how to process them even if thats what they are, and I don't like the odds of the Amanita family in general, not to mention I've only heard negative things about their effects. #1
  #2

#3

#'s 1 and 2 found at same location #3 was with many that looked lighter almost a sun bleached yellow color.

Well the thing with most Aminitas is the veil is very abundant with alot of different kinds. Muscarias are known for the rings around the base near and on the volva, which yours dont have from what i can see.

Ah, IC. Another reason I don't trust Amanitas.

Personally i love to eat aminita amerimuscaria/muscaria. Makes me very relaxed and tipsy on medium sized doses, and iv been lucky enough not to get any side-affects. I would eat A.Muscaria before any pscilocybe.

those look like amerimuscria to me. they almost look light enough to be formosa, but im not an expert on the subspecies. I pick ones that look like yours all the time though. not the best tatsing mushrooms on earth, but definately on of the more interesting highs there are. At least thats what SWIM told me

Seeing as this thread has already been bumped, I was wondering how the third specimen can be a confirmed muscaria without clear rings on the base. Could someone explain to me what other characteristics confirmed the ID? Thanks

Amanita amerimuscaria nom. prov. is an Interwebz name and hasn't been published in any peer-reviewed journal as of yet. The epithet nom. prov. means unfinished definition. I would call his mushrooms Amanita muscaria var. guessowii.

I've also read of a Pacific North West variety thus far unnamed "Everything you ever wanted to know about Fly agaric's" And one referred to as a peach muscaria

Yeah, that's an awesome link. You'll see I got my two pennies in there about taxonomy.
Good stuff. If it hasn't been it ought to be in the FAQ. Probably the most informative thread in the forum, ever. The formatting alone was breathtaking.

Thanks for the link Bipolardox! It seems to show pretty well why so many people have different answers as to what the species may be. Considering that there are many unnofficial species, and many species look so close to the same that it can be hard to narrow ones own mushroom to a certian species sometimes. It also seems like there is much confusion on the web about the ID of many species. i have seen the same pics used on different sites stating a different species variation for the same shroom!
